Hotel Motel Porticcio has a unique layout with reception, some rooms and breakfast facilities, free parking in the building close to the promenade with a wide choice of restaurants, bars and bakeries along the length of the beautiful beach. The Hotel Porticcio then has 3 more small buildings of modern apartments spaced on the slope behind, each with own free parking for the guests. As a couple with our small dog with us we were upgraded to a studio apartment in the 4th block with its own fenced, small terrace and garden with sea view which was perfect. We could walk less than 100 metres to the main building to be warmly welcomed by Stephanie who served us a fresh continental breakfast indoors, as mornings were a bit cooler mid-end September. In summer it is served in a pleasant roofed area outdoors. Les Chênes is a quiet private road to only a few properties. The studio had a kitchenette area with double ceramic hob, microwave and fridge. I wasn't planning on cooking this holiday but it was great to be able to have hot or cold drinks and snacks. The bed was very comfortable and clean. There's a small wardrobe, with shelves and drawers. A dining table 2 chairs plus outside a small patio table, chairs, sunbed and airer for drying beachwear and towels. The bathroom was very good and clean with handbasin, shower cubicle and w.c. Gemma, the receptionist was always cheerful and helpful and any other staff and the owner friendly too. No wonder this is a busy hotel without crowds.

The hotel is ok and good price. However our room's A/C was so power we couldn't use it even in the lowest setting without freezing.

I was for vacations. The location was terrific, next to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, all from walking distance. Staff were helpful. The only complaint is that wi-fi didn't work in my room during my stay on first floor. I had to go downstair, but no big deal.

We have booked this just as a overnight stay close to the airport as we had a very early flight to catch. Neither of us could get any sleep mainly because the aircon is way too big and noisy for that small room, even on the minimum setting. If the aircon was switched off you were woken up due to heat (August). If you opened the balcony door it was too noisy as it’s located next to the main road plus it’s not cooling the room much. It is only a two star hotel so not sure if that is simply an acceptable standard but I’ve learnt my lesson and next time I’ll rather pay more and stay somewhere decent even if it’s just for 6 hours of shut eye. Sleep is way too important!

Great welcome.Clean hotel, Carrefour Market nearby and holiday village atmosphere on the door with pleasant souvenirs shops and affordable beach restaurants a few minutes away. The breakfast area outside was amazing, sheltered from intense heat. Prompt service with a smile. Friendly cat around and cocky little bird 'asking' for some crumbs from your croissants. You can leave your postcards on the desk and the local postman will take them away from you. Very pleasant few days.

Tres bien situé

C'est la troisième fois que nous venons dans cet hôtel. L'emplacement est top, le service est très agréable, à l'accueil comme au petit-déjeuner. Par contre nous devons dire que les murs sont en papiers, nous avons entendu parler et la télé jusqu'à 1h du matin de la chambre de devant... Dommage, tous le reste est top.

Décevant Face à un rond point, face au Carrefour Market Très bruyant nous avons été réveillé tous les matins par le camion poubelle Chambre bien trop petite sans rangement La Sdb exiguë douche vraiment trop petite Sans parler du Papie toilette positionné au dessus de la tête !

Hôtel pas isolé, petit déjeuner très cher et pas formidable. La piscine et la vue très bien hôtel vieillissant dommage très bien placé

Chambre propre mais nous avons eu 2 petits lits au lieu d’un lit double. Personnel accueillant. Petit déjeuner offert

Chambre très très petite …! Presque impossible de poser nos valises .les lits en 70 cm Salle d’eau minuscule , la douche à peine et peut être même pas 80 cm , je ne pouvais pas me baisser ou lever les genoux pour me savonner les pieds tellement c’était étroit . Chambre sur l’arrière très bruyante , toutes les portes font beaucoup de bruit pour les fermer . La climatisation date de Mathusalem , impossible d’avoir du froid et très bruyante . Très déçue , hôtel à éviter

Hôtel bien situé mais chambre bruyante, pas insonorisé du tout. On attend tout, Tv de la chambre à côté, les discussions etc…

Personnel sympa, hôtel bien placé mais il mériterait une rénovation aux standards actuels. Ma salle de bain était douteuse avec une mini douche où il restait quelques cheveux et des coulures de je ne sais quoi sur le mur. A noter que la poignée intérieure de la douche était cassée donc compliqué d'en sortir une fois la porte fermée. Enfin du bruit sur la terrasse jusqu'à 2h30 du matin.
