Upon arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. The private underground parking was great for ease of unloading and accessing the apartment. Whilst the apartment was tidy, we found chewing gum on one of the chairs and the furniture was far from comfortable to sit on - although fine if you are just using it for short periods eating. All the basics were there but we would not recommend the kitchen for any serious cooking (Microwave/Combination oven and a small hob). The Wifi was absolutely awful. It constantly asked for a login and when you did connect the signal didn't even allow emails to be sent unless you walked closer to reception. My wife and I resorted to paying for 4G via Vodafone to access the internet, really disappointing. The pool is ok but given the number of apartments, far from relaxing due to how busy it gets. Overall a good location, with basic amenities and would recommend if you just want somewhere as a base to go and explore from.

Nice, clean and well equipped apartment, especially kitchen (everything you may need even salad spinner and lemon juicer), but no windows in the bedroom It is not really a 4 star hotel, it is more like a self-catering apartment with a concierge and spa. Overpriced. We didn't notice any signs of 4* apart from swimming pool.There was no room service,no cleaning,no breakfast,no safety locker,poor WiFi. You even have to clean the kitchen and strip the beds down before checkout! We arrived late and there was nobody at the reception, the hotel was closed! We didn't get any welcome email and nobody told us that reception closes at about 9p.m. Hopefully, I called a day before to ask about taxi and they told me how to open the locker and get the key if we come late, I got this information only by accident! otherwise we could have spent the night outside! In the locker we have found an instruction how to find the room and it was in French only! It was a real adventure game, there are 5 or 6 lifts, we spent about 30 minutes and used knowledge of all 5 foreign languages we speak. Someone wrote in comments about this problem earlier and they still have not translated even basic instructions and guidance. No towels in spa and they asked us not to wear our flip-flops in spa. It is not hygienic. Location is good for skiing.Good slopes, good restaurants, lots of ski rental shops, friendly people. Not sure if it is easy to store ski in the hotel, we rented lockers down in the village

Room was rather small with no view. I wish they had told us that. But we still had a great time.

Great modern accommodation in a friendly resort close to all amenities

Be prepared for a lengthy check in at busy periods.Each individual can takes 10 to 15 minutes and if several people in line and only two staff-get the idea ,extremely frustrating and unnecessary. Else,helpful staff and pool and spa. Other issue to be aware of is the complicated lift system that takes time to get used to.

what a lovely aparthotel - staff were smiling and welcoming from check in to check out . Reception area is lovely and welcoming with log fire and and lots of seating. The apartment was a gold standard and had gorgeous views of the slopes. Exceptionally well appointed with 3 bedrooms with comfy beds. As a family of 5 we had lots of space even when we all got the winter vomiting bug!! The spa area is great. My only comment which is not a complaint but more a suggestion would be to have some free weights in the gym. Sauna were great and never crowded when we went at 5 ish each day so I cannot comment about later then that. It's a little bit of a trek to the village but with the lifts no trouble at all. As we usually stay on the slopes this is not ski in ski out. However for the last 3 years at New Years we didn't have enough snow to ski down from the "ski in ski out" apartments, so again no real issues as lifts to ski area are just across the road . Overall a fantastic apartment complex really well run and with delightful reception staff.

Week signal Wifi,3 small bed rooms apartment ,stay for 2 days do'nt have room cleaning, never stay this apartment again.

I had no idea this resort was so far up in the mountains- believe it or not it was darn near the very top! With that said- if seclusion is what you are after- especially from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.....THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I loved every moment of being in Le Grand Bornand. The people were pleasant- the food was great- the air is crisp- it is TRULY a getaway!

Stayed in this hotel 3 times now, never disappointed

We stayed one week at CGH in Le Grand Bornand and had an excellent time. The view from the apartment was spectacular could not ask for anything better. The hotel is huge situated on a hill, but the apartments feel like small individual chalets. As the hotel was big it was quite a distance from reception to the apartment meaning several elevators to get there. I know some reviews have given a bad grade due to this which I think is unfair , you quite quickly get used to it and learn the route. The kids thought it was fun too. The amenities were great, pool, sauna, steam room. Ease of access to the slopes just a walk across the road. Ski lockers located close which helped a lot, i.e no need to use the car for a week. There is a well stocked supermarket just below the hotel where you can find all you need.

Loin des remontées, ascenseurs peu pratiques, appartement/mobilier/sanitaires vieux, literie peu confortable, piscine froide et jacuzzi interdit aux enfants ! La propreté n'est pas au rendez-vous, beaucoup de poussière en arrivant dans le logement. Le ménage n'est pas fait dans les parties communes et le comble, il faut nettoyer la cuisine alors que le ménage est censé être compris dans le prix. À ce prix il vaut mieux louer un appartement et aller au restaurant midi et soir... Nous sommes très déçus, nous nous attendions à une résidence de standing ! Nous n' y reviendront pas

Sehr schöne Wohnungen aber in einer sehr großen Anlage mit mehreren Häusern über die man mit verschiedenen Aufzügen zur Wohnung/Rezeption/Pool kommt.

Seul bémol, l'accès à l'appartement. Il faut prendre deux ascenseurs et cheminer dans des couloir en changeant de bâtiments. Cela devient compliqué quand il y a du monde qui utilise les ascenseurs car on perd pas mal de temps.

Déplacement un peu compliqué pour trouver l'appartement. Piscine un peu fraîche. Appartement un peu sombre. Garage payant et loin de l'appartement. Personnel au top. Lieu très accueillant

Logement très spacieux malheureusement on est obligé d’allumer la lumière on plein jour
