Amazing food, great value Clean modern apartment

Very spacious apartments and large pools close to Alicante airport, bathrooms were a bit old and tired and could do with renovation but the rest of the apartment was adequate. Parking is not free unless you can get one of only 4/5 spots so beware of this as you may end up having to pay to use the plentiful underground parkin

This resort was a major disappointment from start to finish. The check-in experience set the tone — the staff member who assisted us (possibly sitting in for a manager) was unwelcoming and gave the impression that guests were more of a burden than anything else. The property itself is in very poor condition. Buildings are visibly dirty, paint is peeling everywhere, mildew stains are widespread, and wall tiles and walkways look like they haven’t been pressure-cleaned in years. The resort simply looks neglected. Our room was another letdown. It was extremely noisy, with little to no soundproofing. We could hear everything — including loud parties at 3 a.m. We reported this issue, and while it was temporarily addressed for one night, the very next day the reception staff acted as though they had no record of our complaint. The buffet was chaotic. Staff members often argued with each other openly — and as a fluent Spanish speaker, I could understand exactly what was being said. The food itself wasn’t terrible; they offered the basics, and dining quality was at least acceptable compared to the rest of the experience. Safety was another concern. The property at night is very dark, with minimal lighting. We were placed in the last apartment of the first block, and walking back there after dark didn’t feel safe at all. Overall, this was my first and definitely my last visit to this property. Poor maintenance, unprofessional staff, and uncomfortable rooms made for a miserable

El Plantio is nice. Apartments have really good kitchens so you don’t need to eat in the restaurant which is pretty average. The golf courses loo lovely but you neer a handicap even to play the Par 3 course.

Second trip here and after the first visit three years, nothing has changed. Even though it was high season it felt quiet. We had a relaxing stay. Comfortable beds, good aircon. Beautiful scenery. Great for families. Nice to be a little further away from the crowded area of Alicante.

They should not say that they have a gym as it is a joke. Equipment is not working and there is no aircon. Sunchairs are on the last year or so because they are saggy. People also need to shape up and not put towels and leave. Our aircon vroke down in the afternoon of day one, but the technician made a fantastic work to make it work again.

Great hotel, lovely staff, good restaurant! Only 10 mins from the airport but no noise of planes.

2 huge swimming pools and extra spacious rooms.

We arrived quite late at night - the reception staff were helpful. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. A kettle would have been useful. The breakfast choices were excellent.

We used as a stop over for the airport which is only 10 minutes drive. It’s a little dated, but clean. Nice pool area and good food from the bar / restaurant. Friendly staff.

It's a great resort and always reasonably priced for the standard of accommodation and the beds are comfortable too.

Less than 10 minutes to Alicante airport, so very convenient especially if you have hired a car. Large 2 bedroomed, two bathroom apartments with kitchen, dining area, sitting area and patio in a quiet and beautiful setting on a golf course. Two very large swimming pools, however, unheated over the winter months. I would definitely stay here again.
