We were on the return leg of a roadtrip and arrived at the Fairmont. Beautiful exterior with attentive staff as We Valeted the car. We found the receptionist kind and efficient. Our 2 queen with a view of the water was spacious. The view was as advertised. Gorgeous bathroom with a glass shower and a tub to soak. After a day in downtown we retreated to our sanctuary in the city. The bed and bedding provide a restful night. Couldn’t be happier. This place is top notch!

Staying at the Fairmont is definitely a luxury experience. The front desk gave us an umbrella to use when it was raining and we were walking to dinner. It was the weekend of the marathon and they communicated what roads were going going to be blocked off and when to leave.

Great location in downtown Pittsburgh! The hotel staff is EXCELLENT - especially RYAN! We arrived early (Noon) knowing that check in was at 4pm. Ryan was so helpful and checked our luggage so we could start our tour bus fun! Around 1:30 pm, I received a text message from Ryan that our room was ready and he had our luggage delivered to our room so it was available upon our return from our ventures! He was so helpful and polite! Great customer service! Thank you!

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Pittsburgh and this is heads and heels above all of them. I had high standards and they met them all. From location to the room to the extremely nice staff it will be hard to beat the Fairmont.

The Fairmont is in an excellent downtown location. It is close to the Cultural district and Market square. The lobby is beautiful with a Starbucks. The rooms were average size. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The walls and furniture were dirty. There was a Keurig in the room with free pods. There was chips available in the room. They were $9 for a 1.5 oz container. (Really????). We will not be staying here again.

Parking is expensive. Valet parking overnight at $65 is very expensive. Hotel is OK but overpriced for what it is. Getting extra pillows involved 3 phone calls. Restaurant is very slow moving so if you are in a hurry avoid it. They got my wifes hamburger order completely wrong. Very much not the Fairmont experience I have had in the past. Front desk people very nice and friendly

This hotel was not worth the extra spend. I did not find the staff helpful nor up to Fairmont's usual service level. Not offer of help with bags despite people at the door watching me struggle. I booked a room on a high floor. I paid extra for this. When I got there they told me this wasn't available because my stay overlapped with other people who also booked a high floor. Therefore I was given a lower floor and not offered a refund. I communicated to the hotel that this had happened and they informed me I hadn't booked a room on a high floor despite showing them my reservation details which clearly spelled that out. Overall a disappointing property.

Front desk -poor service (later at night they are never there) (to order room service from them it took 6 calls to front desk for them to pickup) Room was clean and very nice. Valet’s did a great job in the front. Room service needs more all day items. I was charged $50 for an early checkin fee (but I actually checked in late) After calling the hotel to rectify this after I received my portfolio I still never received a new portfolio showing the $50 credit for the early checkin that never occurred.

Ryan at the front desk was wonderful. Upon hearing it was my birthday, he ordered that a bottle of champagne be sent to our suite along with an ice cream treat. He also upgraded our room for a discounted rate. Very thoughtful, professional & helpful.
