Great location on an attractive little street, with views of the Alhambra. We got a room upgrade, so were very happy with that. Room was interesting and a good sized with a nice little balcony. Would have been nice to have coffee facilities in the room. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Building is lovely, old & full of character but is on first floor & above with no lift to it so luggage has to be carried up a high flight of stairs. The room was way too small for a double bed & you can’t swing a cat in the bathroom either but bed & pillows were very comfortable. Air con apparently operates in summer but opening window didn’t cool room down.

As a solo traveller, this hotel has provided me with ever comfort, security and convenience. Not to mention the most gorgeous Juliet balcon any girl could have wished for! What a treat it is to stay. The staffs: beautiful Maya, gorgeous and handsome Santiago went out of there to make sure my stay was exceptional. Thank you so much!

Disappointed with this hotel and the room I was allocated. I specifically booked a view of the Alhambra but was given a room on the back of the hotel with no view. When I complained, the receptionist didn't seem to care and there was no offer of compensation. Expedia were far more helpful when I contacted them about the issue. The room I had was very small and noisy at night and the bathroom was absolutely tiny with no space to move at all.

This a charming hotel in a gorgeous old building on the edge of the Albarracin District with views of the Alhambra. However, period charm does come at the ecpense of modern conveniences - the room and especially the bathroom was very small - there was no sink plug and the shower cubicle was rather rudimentary. The Wi-Fi did not work in the top floor rooms and there was no lift available to the first floor lobby. Enjoyed staying here but not sure i would do so again

The location of this hotel is excellent. We walked the “back” way to the Alhambra, as shared by Santiago. That was an excellent choice and a bit of a secret, I think! No crowds. The staff is excellent- friendly and informative. My only complaint (as others have noted)is the standard room is VERY small. You can also hear your neighbors in adjoining rooms.

I had stayed at the Rosa del Oro years ago when it had another name. It’s still just as charming, built around a courtyard with views of the Alhambra. The rooms are not big and fancy, but very comfortable. You choose this hotel for its location and ambiance, not its amenities.

The front desk staff members were welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, however the pillows were too large and hard, making them uncomfortable. The shower was somewhat difficult to use. Most hotels provide complementary coffee and tea for hotel guests. Would be nice if that was included. To clarify, coffee and tea are available at a moderate cost. The hotel is in a good location, close to town and walkable to the Alhambra. The hotel style is unique and charming. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job! Overall, we would definitely recommend.

The hotel is right in the middle of the tourist area, so super convenient but noisy on weekend evenings. The staff are very nice and super helpful

Puts you close (walking distance) to some of the most wonderful places in Granada, the Alhambra, Sacramonte, and the Albayzin. My room had a view of the Alhambra and you could step out onto the small balcony to take in the Dario river and people enjoying a stroll, tapas, etc. The hotel is low service, no fancy facilities, just friendly staff, clean, air conditioned rooms with comfortable beds, chairs, etc. in the most beautiful area of Granada. The area is a prime evening spot for tapas and people heading to Sacramonte to see Flamenco. There will be late night noise from people heading home. But it is pleasant and NOT traffic noise. As a single female traveler, I felt safe and quickly known to the staff and the local coffee shop. I will absolutely stay here again.
