I recently stayed at D Varee Jomtien Beach Pattaya Hotel and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the location. It sits directly across from Jomtien Beach, so waking up every morning to an ocean view from the balcony was fantastic. The views from the higher floors, especially the rooftop bar are impressive and made the stay feel much more relaxing. The hotel itself is a little older and could use some refurbishment (which they are currently doing) in certain areas, but I honestly felt the value for the price was still very good. Some parts of the rooms and hallways show their age, but everything was clean enough and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the air conditioning worked well, which is important in Thailand’s heat. Breakfast was another positive. There was a good variety of Thai and Western food, fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and coffee. I also enjoyed the pool areas and rooftop atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, especially housekeeping and the bell staff. One thing I really liked was the convenience of the area. There are convenience stores, restaurants, night markets, and baht buses nearby, making it easy to get around Pattaya and Jomtien without spending much money on transportation. If you are expecting a brand-new luxury resort, this may not be the place for you. But if you want a comfortable beachfront hotel with amazing views, a convenient location, and reasonable prices, D Varee is a solid choice. I would stay here again on another trip to Pattaya.

For 91.38 AUD per night including breakfast, we expected the room to be a little more in line with what was advertised. The air conditioner felt quite dated and the bathtub showed visible wear so I did not feel comfortable using it. That said, the view is excellent and the beachfront location is a major highlight. Breakfast was okay. During the festival period, the egg station seemed a little understaffed. The staff member there was working very hard, so I chose to cancel my order as he appeared quite overwhelmed. All staff we encountered were lovely and friendly throughout our stay. Overall, the location and view are outstanding, though the rooms would benefit from some refurbishment to better match expectations.

My wife and I booked and stayed at this hotel celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. When I booked I was expecting a 4-star experience, as advertised, but my experience was clearly that of a 3-star property at best. While the hotel was clean and functional, it lacked the level of comfort, service, and facilities that define a true 4-star hotel. The rooms were basic, with standard furnishings and limited amenities. There was nothing particularly refined or upscale in the design or presentation, and the overall atmosphere felt practical rather than polished. Service was polite but minimal. Staff appeared to be doing their best, but service was not consistently attentive, and there was no concierge-style support or proactive guest care that would normally be expected at a higher rating. Facilities and dining options were also more in line with a mid-range hotel. Overall, the experience met basic needs but did not offer the enhanced comfort, attention to detail, or elevated service that justifies a 4-star classification. In summary, this is a decent 3-star hotel, but it is misleading to advertise it as 4-star with the room costs of a 4 star. Guests booking with that expectation are likely to be disappointed.

Excellent hotel. We stayed on the 21st floor. The views from the balcony were incredible. The room was big and clean. There is a 7 Eleven outside the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and there were many options to choose from. The staff at this hotel are also very kind and welcoming.

Decided to do a wknd trip to Pattaya, picked this hotel and was very pleased. Staff were very helpful and polite, upgraded to a beach view and was so thankful, the hotel and room was very clean, beds were comfortable, hot shower but the water pressure was slightly low when hot, lots of space in the room, small kitchen area and had a desk/chair as well. Only a 3 min walk to the beach, several places to eat close by, multiple 7-11s for snacks/drinks, the pool was very clean and easy to access. We will definitely be coming back here again, this was a great experience.
