Great hotel

This hotel was incredible. The staff was amazing and so helpful. They received us with a bottle of wine that they were promoting. Everything in the room worked very well. The showers are a bit small but still ok. The location was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel itself was beautiful. It is close enough to walk everywhere and far enough to have a quiet evening when you want to sleep. I would absolutely go back to this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff, free parking after checkout, have a nice and beautiful backyard. Convenient location. Recommened to families.

The hotel was different and somehow like a visit to your grandmothers shed with old furniture (most of them were locked and not accessible). It needs some urgent renovation, and I think you might find better in Florence for that price. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Really cute old hotel about 20 minute walk from city center and the main sights. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful! Our room was so beautiful and vintage and classic Italian! However the cleanliness could have been better. There were some ants in the bathroom and lots of dust on the fixtures. A bit of mold/hard water build up in a few places in the bathroom too. Not terrible, and it’s a good place to stay for a short visit

The room was roomy, clean and comfortable and a nice location, away from the crowds but not too far.

Lovely hotel about 25 minutes walk to centre of Florence, set in a peaceful green location. I chose this hotel for the great architectural features, the staff were all very helpful and kind. Would definitely visit again.

Great small hotel in walking distance to everything without being in the busy center. Lovely staff was very helpful and welcoming. Rooms are a bit dated but adds to the character.

Nice hotel in great location. Staff was helpful and onsite parking was a godsend.

Free onsite parking was great. Short walk to taxi station. Quite little place. Staff is great. Breakfast is nice. The bathtub is very skinny with hand held shower but no shower surround or curtain. We are not very big people and we both almost got stuck in the tub. Very hard to wash hair without soaking the bathroom. Great location.

It’s a very good hotel safe a short distance walking aroun the florencia and have in front of hotel a beautiful park for walk in the night

The property is in a beautiful location. The hotel itself has seen better days. Although the staff is attentive and assists in all requests, there is a sense of the place being "tired" and in need of a facelift. With some care the place could be a 4 star property.

The building is charming, but the interior furniture requires major renovation/repair.

We really liked the hotel. Nice rooms, very nice area for breakfast. Very convenient that breakfast is included. Polite staff. Very close to all sightseeing, located in the area with many restaurants and shops. But! When we checked in we paid their city tax cash and unfortunately didn’t get the receipt Then when we checked out the other receptionist told us it’s a different tax or smth and we were in a rush and paid it again . Then I checked and texted them to explain and they said it was a misunderstanding.. but so far money haven’t been returned and they went quiet.. so!!! Be careful and make sure you don’t repeat our mistake. Get the receipt and double check what you have to pay at the property so you don’t pay in twice!

Buffet Breakfast was terrible - plastic wrapped dry croissants, bowl of apples, cheap sliced bread etc. hugely disappointing and seating outside when it’s very cold first thing in the morning. No room upgrade provided. Bedding in room 104 was a sheet and throw (not thick fabric) so I was very cold all night. WC made constant flushing noise which hotel did sort but got no sleep first night. Room 10 (my sisters room) - shower room with curtain very basic; room is behind reception, with bed up wooden stairs on a mezzanine and no space to move around. Mum was in room 109 which had slightly more space but still very basic. There’s nowhere to sit if you get back from visiting sites and want a cup of tea other than seating along one wall of entrance hallway. Trying to get a taxi into the centre of Florence was impossible early morning - there just weren’t any available so it’s a little too far out as a good 30 minute walk into the centre. Tip- get the local no11 bus which is nearby. Gardens of the hotel aren’t particularly well cared for. Photos make this hotel look a lot nicer than it is. We were pretty disappointed. It was clean and staff were helpful but overall experience was poor.

Truly a “classic” hotel with a quaint feeling. Breakfast in the garden couldn’t have been lovelier. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The location,near Porta Romano, gave easy access to Florence.
