They should improve the basic amenities as they dont provide shampoo, nor do they have towels for the beach especially considering there is no pool. Additionally, there was no hair dryer, and they should also have a mini fridge to allow guests to keep drinks cold. A good thing to mention is that the hotel is very centrally located near shops and close the beach.

When we arrived at the hotel, they did not have a room for us. They said they did not show reservation for us, but when I showed them the Expedia confirmation, they said our room was unavailable because it was under construction. They did not have any other rooms. Usually, in my experience, a hotel will do this when they have re-rented your room out at a higher price to someone else. . They did get us a room at their cost at a sister hotel about a half mile away. They called a taxi to take us up there. However, that room was not nearly so nice as the one that we had in the picture Expedia showed at this hotel for our reservation. Also, we finally got to bed about an hour later than we should have because we had to travel up to the other hotel, wait for them to get the accommodation and so forth. At first, GHL Bocagrande acted like they did not have a reservation for us, but when I showed them the Expedia Confirmation, they said The room was unavailable because it was under construction. . I would like a call from Expedia to discuss what to do about this.

The property was nasty and dirty, they dinning area was all disgusting, there was a dirty dinning with flys on the fruit. Everything food silverware table everything entire property was nasty and dirty. I had 24 horas without towels I had to went and purchase my own I went downstairs to reception they told me that they linen was not coming until they fallowing day. They was broken bathroom shower. Also there was cockroaches walking around the breakfast area. This property is just a complete mess is nasty dirty and disgusting.

The hotel has a mosquito problem, there is a lot of noise in some rooms, the breakfast is adequate, but you must not wait until the last minute. The staff is very friendly, the cost-benefit ratio is little bit high. I had a room change and I have no complaints about the second room, the bathroom is a bit small, but it's not bad. Very close to the beach, it does not have a pool and the photos do not correspond to the state of the rooms.

Breakfast was good, friendly staff, luckily, was able to move into a better, more comfortable room. Too loud outside, music went on until 11 pm.

The night reception employee tried to charge us 200000 pesos for placing the insulin in the refrigerator!! Totally outrageous. The disability office of Colombia should fine this property for trying to prey with people with disabilities

Good location Rooms are ok and overall the hotel is just ok, not the best

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. The room was painted with mold all over the walls, the bathroom had rust, and the bed had stains. NO POOL despite fake google images.

I had to go to another hotel an pay there because the beds were covered with ants an they had no more rooms available.

Awful experience We had reservation for 10 days and the room was so dirty and had mouse droppings around windows We were willing to pay for 1-2 nights but they charged the whole amount without refund by knowingly lying that it was a NoShoW Everyone lying and telling us a different story Hotels.com contacted them and They refused to refund any of the $300 Hotels.com kindly offered a $76 credit however, but the Hotel is BAd News

The location is ideal. Close to beach and close to many restaurants. Can’t beat the price.

Very run down establishment. Tons of flies in the room. Lots of construction going on, wifi kept dropping, and the hot water in the shower is non-existent. I would avoid if possible unless you're looking for a cheap place to bring back a hooker.

The room and hotel were clean, cheap and located close to the beach and city center. The room itself was nice and contained a strong air conditioning. One problem is that the temperature of the shower is difficult to change because the shower just has a small switch on the top and if you touch the wrong part of the switch it will electrocute you. The staff were helpful and there is a free breakfast provided every morning as well as a wonderful restaurant with live music for pay at other times of the day

Room average, no water inthe room first night they said there is a problem in the sector, next day cant take a shower water dripping

Saw a roach in the closet almost as soon as we walked in. Window was right next to a big noisy AC unit. Was pretty much what we expected for the price.

Great small hotel. It's where we stay every time we are in Cartagena - this was our fifth stay. Staff is very welcoming and attentive. A block away from the beach. Walking distance to all restaurants and retail stores. Close to all the attractions.
