The villa was super clean and well equipped, lots of activity to do and the beach was 20 minutes walk from the grounds. Everything looks just like the pictures on the site and nothing out of place. With Skagen 15 minutes away via car there are lots of eateries there if you don’t feel like cooking yourself of eating at restaurants onsite. Remember to check what is provided and what you need to bring yourself.

We arrived later & the reception was closed so there could not be any communication. Temperature was centrally controlled & house was too cold. It was written in the guidelines that one should contact reception to increase or decrease the temperature. We could not contact & had to sleep in a colder room. Communication was though better next day when we had to get corrected our triplicate reservations due to a glitch in the system.

Nice stay, excellent located close to Skagen, excellent beaches, råbjerg mile and a lot more.

Nice accommodations even during low season. Everything was as described. Be sure to bring your own linens. Would like to go back in the summer! Thanks!

Functional and clean with lots of facilities.

Skagen strand hotel was the perfect place for a group of friends to stay. We each had our own single beds and the property included a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, patio, and living room. It was very comfortable and were lucky to have booked out stay here.

We wanted to find a hotel close to Skagen that we could stay with a dog. It was an excellent stay for us, Lots of close walks, beach and the forest in which the dog could run. There was a train stop right outside the hotel, perfect for the short trip into Skagen, which had lots of shops, bars and restaurants. The actual hotel was very suitable for families with children, it reminded of an older English holiday camp set up with play areas, inside pool, small golf area etc, with the accommodation in rows of chalets. Not luxurious, but perfectly clean. All in all, just what we needed for a long weekend.

Everyone asked why go to Denmark, but there is plenty to see and the Skagen Strand is an excellent location for Skagen and north Jutland. The facilities were extensive and underused. The restaurant is very good. Take advantage of the bakery delivery option. The only downside - the weather is like England.

We enjoyed our stay here. We particularly liked that it had lots of facilities. The pool area was good, we liked the Steam Room and the slide was enjoyed by our teenage children. We used the outside volleyball court and football area, zip line, and the indoor badminton courts. Although the weather was wet, had no problem booking court times. It is a 10 min stroll to the beach which was through green areas ( we went through Field Paths although there was a forest path too. Good base to explore Skagen area. The houses themselves were well equipped although no toaster and the cups/ mugs are on the small side. The description of toiletries is misleading as you are only provided with a handsoap dispenser in the bathroom and one dishwasher tablet ( no liquid) so do really need to bring everything else. My first impression of the house was it felt a little cold but it was well equipped and had plenty of storage space. The bathroom floor had Brown marks on the floor ( think they were chips in the tiles) and rust on the toilet roll, which was a little offputting so could do with a little modernisation, but overall the property was pretty good and we didnt have any complaints.

This is a very nice hotel with self-contained units that have a full kitchen. The living space is decent, if a little cramped, but the visitor has access to all of the facilities, which are substantial. Plus, you are only 11k from Skagen and a short walk to nice beaches on the Baltic. The only surprising, negative thing was that we had to pay for water and electricity. After living in 15 different cities, living in 8 different countries and travelling extensively, I have never paid for utilities at a hotel.

Great place to see the area and ride bikes into Skagen.

The houses are in good condition, close to the beach and they are nice danish design. We cycled to Skagen and Grenen from here and back which was a 33 km trip total. Very nice.

Good rooms. Good location for Skagen and surrounding area.

Well-arranged houses/rooms and many activities for kids/families. Pricing of restaurant on the high side, but food - and service - excellent!

we have been at Skagen strand 5 times and love it there we have small children that loves the place and the surroundings..

Had a wonderful time with children, a small but very nice bathing area.

Veldig koselig området og vi koste oss masse. Burde ha hatt et utendørsbasseng også siden det er en "god" gåtur til stranden.
