Room was clean and spacious, comfy bed. Great breakfast. Staff were all very friendly. Could not be happier with our stay and will certainly return.

Loved the layout of the room very spacious, loved the bath tub too! Only issue was the kids room didn’t have a window so felt a littl claustrophobic

We had a great 1 night stay. The upgraded room was basic but clean and had all we need. Paintwork was a bit shabby and nothing special. We ate in the restaurant which had plenty of choice and the food was great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Overall a great stay as a stopover

Good hotel, great value and breakfast included Have stayed here a few times and is my goto when I’m in the area for work. Good is alright and prompt, staff are really accommodating/ helpful

The bedroom was okay but cold . My husband and I got into bed it felt damp struggled to sleep . When we turned heating on the bed was still cold. Hotel could do with a decor

No hot water in the shower. Shower head was partially clogged. Had to run a bath instead, and was already pressed for time. Facial hair around the sink. Building was right next to the main road, very noisy.

The hotel and staff went good, but just good, there was nothing wrong but nothing exceptional. Would stay again if I needed to be in the area.

Good service at reception. Food - adequate. Accommodating poor. Why poor? Noisy room right by the main road, thin walls, toilet paper thin, no toilet brush, room smelt of sweat on arrival necessitating open the windows to let in fresh air. Very poor indeed.

A convenient location for a course I was on nearby. Room was chilly (so had to use electric fan heater provided ) and no water provided - but maybe that was an oversight. It was a triple deluxe and all was clean and neat etc would stay again.

The cottages housing the rooms are small but well designed. They are near the road but this is very quiet at night. The golf course looked in very good condition and though we didn't play it on this occasion, we will play next time we visit.

Have stayed with the hotel many times before told friends how wonderful it is rooms beautiful but this stay room 25 was so disappointed old needs updating radiator old discoloured mirror old silver round edges worn bath panel to edge of bath brown wish I had taken photos beds comfortable and clean as usual maid service 5*shame room lets it down
