Highly recommend. The staff are always polite and friendly, wanting to assist with all your needs. It was my birthday and they provided a complimentary bottle of wine and booked a wonderful restaurant for us. Location is great, close to bakery, brasserie, convenience store, pharmacy and fruit and veg. Easy walk to Eiffel Tower. Lovely courtyard where you can opt for continental breakfast or a quick breakfast of coffee and pastries. A wonderful experience for a first time visitor to Paris. Room was very clean and had everything you need. Bathroom large and included a spa bath too.

The staff at Hotel de Varenne was pleasant, helpful, and the highlight of staying at the hotel. Overall the hotel provides good value for the price. Bed was comfortable and water pressure was strong in the shower. The room did run a bit warm for me and required me to open a window for most of the stay. The hotel is located in a very quite area within walking distance from many major landmarks and close to convenient Metro stations. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good budget option.

The hotel is located in a neighborhood with mostly residential and government buildings around. It is within walking distance of the main sites one has to see while in Paris. The hotel lobby is small, in a typical old style Parisian building but it is clean and the staff are very friendly. On hot days you can leave the window open for a nice breeze but note the usual street noise during the day and trash trucks in the early mornings. The rooms are old fashioned but well kept and the bathrooms are spacious for European standards. For breakfast, you may get more for your buck in an outside Boulangerie but the advantage of the express breakfast menu at the hotel (5 euros for coffee and a basket of bread) is that they serve it as early as 7 am.

As always thee liviedt quaint hotel in Paris. I’ve lost count how many times now we have stayed here. It’s charming, wonderful breakfasts, comfortable elegant rooms and above all attentive above and beyond staff!

The staff is incredibly friendly, nice and accommodating. The hotel inner garden is quite and a great place to unwind in the evening. This is prime location. You can walk to the Eiffel tower, Louvre and Orsay museums. Many great restaurant near by and there's a great bakery almost next door.

The staff was the best, the hotel is old and hasn’t been updated which is nice but it also means hearing the noisy neighbors heavy steps. The staff is so helpful they all especially the young women working during the day , they were very excellent

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was fantastic and very convenient location. Lots of shops nearby including some Michelin Star restaurants.

The room was too warm, could not turn on the AC.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. In a quiet neighborhood which was nice but it was close to a lot of things to see. The staff was very helpful, especially Alexey. He was super friendly and helpful. Our room was a very good size. We would stay here again.

Lovely central location near Invalides. Nice 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and 30 from Notre Dame, 20 from Champs Elyse’s. We walk quite quickly though! Hotel is on a quiet street and very quiet relaxing feel about it. Would highly recommend. Can’t comment on food because we ate out. Very safe location.

The location is close to the Varenne Metro station making daily exploration easy. The concierge staff were helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay, friendly staff and clean room. Lovely entrance thru a pretty courtyard to property. Stayed in room 41, beautiful view of Eiffel Tower.

The hotel was clean, modern and well designed. The staff were the best hosts, very informative and kind. Would definitely stay here again!!
