We had a beautiful and efficient room for two. The bed was over the kitchen and the suite was south facing over South Bridge street. Excellent location only minutes from the Royal Mile and great restos and pubs. The only down side is its not cheap!

Wonderful staff and easy directions. Loved the location. It was quiet and within a 10 minute walk of Royal Mile, shops, restaurants etc. Loved our stay here.

Je recommande, appartement très propre, avec toutes les commodités, situé à proximité des points névralgiques d’Edimbourg.

KM apartments are on a floor of a block of accommodation that otherwise house University of Edinburgh students. We found the location convenient for us, the apartment to be quiet (though we understand not all of them are quiet), well furnished, clean and suitable for us. The breakfast was good, though simple.

The apartments/hotel is in a great location. View of Arthur’s Seat right outside. Not a far walk to the Royal Mile or other museums. Great amount of space. Kitchenette was nice to have especially for a week. The refrigerator is bigger than a mini fridge. A bit of a maze to get to your room and the lift was out part of the stay. Will definitely stay again!

This is a good property for students or solo travellers who don't mind st aying in limited boxed space. I would never recommend this for families with kids. The location is good as it is walkable distance to supermarkets, restaurants, Royal Mile, etc. The hotel rooms are on the 3rd floor and it takes atleast 10 minutes to get to the rooms with your luggage/pram, etc. It is not ideal. Also, the room size felt like living in a box. I felt quite claustrophobic to be honest but somehow managed it as it was for 2 nights. The apartment is well furnished and has good kitchen amenities.

Great find! Renovations meant a longer walk through to the apartments but really wasnt an issue for us. Apartment was spotless and the facilities were great. The only real downside was there are no sockets near the mirror so getting ready was a little tricky as i didnt have a mirror with me so had to use my phone camera to see as i was doing my hair. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the location was great for us!

The property is part of student accommodation undergoing renovations, as such the entrance is “temporary”, VERY studenty (for those students of 90s and 00s) and complex to find the 3rd floor. If first impressions count, this place isn’t for you. We were a family of 4, staying for 2 nights and chose the superior duplex style apartment, however there was very little space for clothing/luggage. For any longer stays, you might need to look elsewhere. If you’re facing the road, it’s LOUD. The windows are double glazed only (fine for home, but city centre main road and buses just below eye level..not so much) The apartment had all amenities required, but we’re starting to show wear, for example the shower head wouldn’t stay up and required to be held whilst showering. Door handles partly broken, and stains on the walls from greasy scalps due to lack of bedheads etc.. Would we stay again?….probably not. We paid almost £500 for two nights in early January, but for a little more we could have the assurance of a proper hotel.

The main entrance door was under repair. We had to go around the building to get to our room. But everything else was perfect.

Unique --relationship to the university. Nothing I really disliked, though the layout of the apartment and in particular the stairs from entry to bed was a bit challenging to navigate with my suitcase.

There was a fan outside the room that was very noisy. There was a chemical smell in the building, maybe paint or such. The renovation works meant that going into and out of the property was a labyrinth.

Stayed a few times now and it’s always the same issue I find is the noise. Not just normal noise but every floorboard in the flat creaked and cracked so loudly I was worried I’d be the annoying one to other people.
