The booking process was surprisingly complicated. It was difficult to reach someone at the hotel to make adjustments, calls to the reception were often picked up and then immediately hung up, and email responses were very slow. This created a rather disappointing first impression.
Upon arrival, the welcome was not particularly warm and the staff did not seem fully informed about important details regarding our stay. We had booked two rooms for two nights, yet it was impossible, both during the reservation process and once on site, to keep the same rooms for the entire stay. This was unfortunate, as it would have made things easier for both us and the housekeeping team.
The rooms themselves were quite basic, even spartan, considering the price. Mine was on the ground floor and directly exposed to a bright exterior spotlight that illuminated the building, which made the nights less comfortable.
Overall, the hotel does not meet the level of service and comfort one would reasonably expect for this price range. With improvements in customer service, communication, and room comfort, the experience could be much more positive. As it stands, I cannot recommend this hotel.
