Breakfast is good

Room clean but fairly basic. Breakfast ok for France. I miss my English breakfast.

The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful; we turned up very early hoping just to be able to leave our bags and they let us check in without an issue. As a base from which to visit the city it was very conveniently located. However, the door to the bathroom was awkward to close due to how it had been converted and there were quite a few bits of peeling paint; the room looked like it could have done with a bit of a refresh.

Room miniscule. Not sufficient for a couple even with moderate luggage. Disappointing compared to completion. A couple of redeeming characteristics. Bed quite comfortable. Shower spray good but in miniscule compartment. Walk up to room on second level. Did not try breakfast. As others have reported a shower curtain which didn’t fit, stained grout in shower. Hallway felt like a prison with heavy gray doors.

Location was excellent and good value for moneyg

Great location, clean room, bathroom needed updated but only slept there , have stayed before and would go back again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, but not all of them are. The decor was stripped down and worn out. But the bathroom had a tub which is a huge plus for me.

Very friendly and on the whole helpful Room was ok but not really value for money.. bathroom in need of some love Whoever the hotel was in a fantastic area to be in the heart of the city. Easy walking distance from airport bus and shuttle

This is my second stay. The staff are superior. Let’s be clear. This is a tourist class hotel as a tourist hotel. They’ve simply done a superior job. I read reviews for travelers are holding a tourist class to the standard of the plaza. This is stupid. When I return to Toulouse, I will stay here again.

This is an old school, charming hotel. In a great part of Toulouse. Staff are excellent. I made the error of not realizing that they do not have an elevator. But the front desk staff without being prompted, offered to carry my bag to my room. Given my challenges with the stairs, this was much appreciated. I take responsibility for not knowing that there was no elevator.

Usually stay here. Close to everything we need. Friendly staff and good price.

The hotel is very basic but ideally located for Capitole Square and getting to and from the airport. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

This was my 3rd year in Toulouse for the International Organ Festival but 1st time in Hotel le Capitole. The Staff could not have been more helpful & friendly. I had a small room on the 3rd floor, the bathroom was tiny but adequate & my room was cleaned daily. Location is ideal, easy to reach all major sites on foot (although Public Transport is excellent - there is also a free circular bus service which runs every 15 minutes & goes to various parts of the City) I look forward to staying here again next year.

Well maintained hotel

The Hotel Le Capitole is centrally located in the Toulouse city center with easy access to the metro and the aeroport shuttle service. I found the staff to be very helpful, and appreciated the fact that the hotel front desk is staffed 24/7. I also appreciated that the hotel offers compact rooms that are well sized and well priced for solo travelers.

It's a very basic hotel. The AC worked well and toilets were functional but that's about it. The WiFi didn't work and the front desk wasn't very helpful when I asked them about it. It's ok for a one or two night stay but any longer, you're going to be uncomfortable.

Two star hotel- clean and friendly (considering not a lot of people want to speak English). Short walking distance from the main Square of Toulouse. Room was small and only had a curtain instead of bathroom door.

I wanted to stay near to downtown. Travel alone. Great location. The rooms are a little old, but charming; clean as well. The breakfast is ok. The staff really friendly, they make you feel welcome.
