Well mantained hotel with variety of accomodation options to choose from.We stayed in 'maisonette' with gorgeous view on the bay. The breakfast bakery is the best♡ The staff was very friendly.

Lovely welcome and all staff friendly. Very clean but tap in bathroom being eco friendly very annoying! Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by an outside event taking place next door to our room that kept us awake until after midnight. They did offer a massage the following day but the damage had been done otherwise it was a lovely place to stay.

It was a great hotel. A great spot to be at if you wanted to explore the island. Front desk we very helpful. Down by the seaside which is literally a 2 minute walk has some great restaurants. Bravo was our favorite. The bartender, Chris made some great drinks.

We arrived at the hotel and our room smelt of sewage and the toilet was leaking. We did not stay at hotel.

This is a truly special property. Fantastic service, beautiful accommodations and a 3 minutes walk(downhill) to the beach. My only concern is that I booked and paid for a superior suite and was given a smaller room than I paid for. The room was enough space so I didn’t complain but I would have preferred to be informed and compensated for the smaller room.

The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained and spotlessly clean. There is a sense of space and lots of little areas you can take yourself off to for a little bit of privacy. Everyone who works at the hotel is friendly and authentic and without a doubt it is the Team at the Irida which made our stay that extra little bit specials. Always welcoming, willing to help and professional. We loved our stay.

Really nice place and nice staff. Breakfast was really cute also. View is not that nice, there's electrical cables right in front of the hotel and the lots around the property make the view unpleasant.

Didn’t get better sea view from my room dark specially day time, need to switch light all time, feel like I am in a garage,the mosquitos make it worst,& a lots of cats around pool not too clean & not heated , breakfast is included but not top quality and little portion,coffee very weak,and no entertainment in the evenings bit sad atmosphere , need to hire a car to explore .will try different location next trip.

Clean and comfortable self contained apartment with lovely views over the water. A short 5 minute stroll to the beach and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff and lovely breakfasts.

We really enjoyed staying here, two of us in a more roomy apartment. The refit of the place is very chic but it retains the warm of a family run business The communal areas are very well cared for and the pool / sun lounges perfect for lazing around. Good chill out music and lovely views make for a relaxing spot and a short walk in the evenings to all the restaurants along the beach Wifi is good in the communal areas but did not work well for us in the room but with new European rules on roaming it wasn't a problem Do bring basics like washing up liquid cloths and tea towels if you plan to eat in as there is really nothing provided. Cutlery crockery and glass is limited to the bare minimum. Very much enjoyed our stay, very few Brits lots of Dutch and Russians staying and all nice people.

Walking distance to Agia Plagia beach and shops. Bus stop to Heraklion at the door. Note; Hotel has quite a few stairs which may not be good for elderly travellers. Only few staff members speak english however they are very friendly and helpful.

I would not recommend this hotel for accommodation..poor customer service!!
