It was as I imagined. Cozy, charming, and comfortable. Even without AC in the room we were provided with fans to help with the heat and it was cool at night to sleep. The restaurant had great food for both diner and breakfast. I would recommend if you are looking for an overnight stay.

It was in a lovely village, really peaceful, but close to larger towns. We would highly recommend going. The food was outstanding

Pricy. No aircon. Vegan breakfast left me short-changed. But staff were friendly and helpful and the room was nice.

Disappointing and overpriced. Overall lacking a welcome atmosphere, room was tired looking, carpet dirty and stained as was the throw on the bed. Breakfast was just okay.

As always, this is tge place to stay. No other choice for me and my family

We throughly enjoyed our first visit ,the staff were very helpful and informative. The room was clean and well equipped. The food was also to a high standard and a good choice.

Everyone super nice. The room was gorgeous! The location, the view and food out of this world. My kids absolutely love it. The Sunday Roast was amazing.

Disappointed with this stay after 2 lovely stays previously. Biggest issue was after paying for a more superior room, the bed was two very uncomfortable single beds put together. The matresses were uncomfortable leading to a really poor nights sleep. Other than that the room was cold and there was dubious staining on the bench seat at the end of the bed.

Lovely New Years Eve stay , great room overlooking the green . Returned from a walk around the spectacular church at midnight to be greeted by 2 glasses of bubbly .

Absolutely delightful 3-night stay at this lovely historic Inn. Staff were all professional, hard working, courteous and polite. Couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious with top quality ingredients - cooked to perfection. We had dinner two nights - again, lovely ingredients, really well cooked. All in all the perfect place to stay to enjoy the wonderful village and church. Will definitely come again

A wonderful inn in a charming English country town. Excellent staff and service with lovely breakfast options. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We'll be back!

Cracking pub with rooms, excellent food friendly staff and a good local real ale.

Nice location in Long Melford ,great view from the front bedrooms . I would recommend staying there .

Really lovely location and hotel. Food is great and they are well staffed and services are generally excellent, aside from busy periods. But overall would highly recommended.

Room was fine not the best but not the worst Squeaky bed, light fitting on centre of room needs attention The bathroom was lovely with all the soaps ect I big issue I got overcharged on my drinks 2 white coffee and 2 sambuca £34 I was lucky it come up on my I phone the staff did agree a refund ended up £17.80 the sambuca was the smallest I’ve ever seen

Lovely hotel, good food (if a bit pricey) welcoming staff, nice rooms.
