Overall, it's a comfortable place for a short getaway in downtown Surabaya. It's quiet, close to everything, and offers a delicious breakfast with plenty of options. However, for a five-star hotel, they could use more flexibility regarding additional amenities (don't be too patriarchal, charging extra for everything) and improve the cleanliness and pest control in the rooms, as there's a lot of dust and a tomcat was found in the bathtub.

However, the tennis court rate is unfortunately too expensive considering the court is not well maintained and is outdoor. Being located in central Surabaya, the court should not be priced at half a million. It’s quite a pity, as recreational players who want to play tennis at the hotel might reconsider due to the overly high price.

I've checked in at Bumi Hotel Surabaya quite often. The kids love the hot tub and the delicious food. I'll be back next time.
