We always stay in this hotel

We checked in recently and, while our initial room had some slight cleanliness issues, the front desk handled it professionally and promptly. Within minutes, they switched us to a new room, and we were very pleased with the accommodations. Special thanks to Claudia, who was such a pleasure to work with! She showed genuine empathy and made us feel truly valued as guests. Our stay was pleasant and relaxing, and we’re already planning to come back in the future. Thank you to the entire team at Ibis Bay Beach Resort for the excellent service and hospitality!

We paid so much money for this very small room nothing like the pictures. The staff at the restaurant was not very pleasant seemed liked we were bothering them especially one behind the seafood counter. Personally with the money I paid for that room I could have stayed at a better hotel .

Quiet clean and has everything you need.

The hotel was OK, but definitely should not be as expensive as it was for just a cheap normal hotel no extras. The room had no extra amenities besides a refrigerator not even a phone. Had no room service and the maid service people barely spoke any English did not give us any extra towels. And always gave us stink face like we were in the wrong for asking them for something. I did not like the attitude that some of the people there had. And the beach area is mostly accommodating to the people who rented the beach rooms not the people who rented the other rooms. The hotel was fairly clean, not too much to complain about there. But no sense of privacy unless you were in your room, even the back porch was wide open for everyone to see you. The ice machine was not working so we were unable to even get ice for our room. I really think they should lower the price to these rooms to accommodate to having just a regular hotel room nothing fancy.

The shower in the room we had was the size of a phone booth with really low water pressure. It was hard to even turn around without falling out of the shower. I don't think I have ever been in a worse shower. On top of that the room was just small and cramped. The bed was Ok, but it took up most of the room. The window blinds didn't keep out the light from the outside so we barely slept because the room was completely lit from the outside light which was a bright orange. I'm not sure if we just got a dud room for blinds, but it was awful. Even the boards on the walkway to the room were rickety and in need or replacement. The good...The air conditioning worked and it was easy enough to get to places from this location. Would not stay here again.

Basic hotel with some sea view but not a beach property

Not so good- just felt dirty and not accommodating. Water was cold in shower. Hotel wasn’t comfy or clean. Kind of eerie. I think other rooms were maybe better than ours. Won’t be back.

We were pleasantly surprised at the location and close proximity to old town key west! We enjoyed our weekend getaway and will certainly return when we have more time to spend!

I’ve never stayed at a hotel that doesn’t have black out curtains and a coffee marker of some kind in the hotel room.

Really lovely room with beachy decor. Very clean but we did not get maid service even after asking for it. The patio was very nice but upon sitting out with snacks we were immediately visited by iguanas including one over 3 ft. Long. Pool was very nice. Enjoyed being able to sit at bar and have lunch by the pool. Overall a good experience.

Nice pool area. Good value in Key West for the price

The property is decorated in retro and the room was very minimal. Not my style. Too far from Old town so we had to take an uber since they don't offer any shuttle or suggestions on how to get there. Would pass on going again. The beach was not nice at all, very mucky

We arrived our room it was supposed to have a view it did not. The room itself was like a box barely enough room to walk around the bed, the toilet was so low we may as well have been sitting on the floor. My boyfriend stood in the shower and his shoulders literally touched the walls on both sides snug. The door didn’t stay closed right so always had to be locked. There were no drawers at all to unpack and put your things in.
