Very quite at night time and sea view marvelous

The service was excellent and kind went out of thier way to make us feel at home. Definitely worth it

Our checkin was easy & someone helped bring up our bags, which was really great. Nice place to stay, but there was a dirty towel on the back of the door when we arrived, & that grossed us out a bit. Everything else was good & we were comfortable.

Adorable old style hotel with modern bathrooms. It’s in a great location and the delicious included breakfast is served in the most beautiful breakfast room. The bed was comfortable but a bit small in our room.

Lots of mosquitoes inside the the rooms and in the lobby of the hotel

The area is good , dinning area with view perfect. Rooms are average . Main problem we suffered from lots of mosquitos bites from inside the rooms and in the lobby needs to be take care . One of us ended up to start antibiotics due to sever bug bites on her leg While she was sitting in the lobby for taxi to the airport

I spent 2 nights at Sidonya. I had a double room that was small but efficient for 1 person. The bathroom and shower was very small, almost uncomfortable to take a shower but not too bad. The room was decently clean however it definitely could have been much cleaner. This hotel is on a very loud street so it was hard to sleep. It is close to major locations in Kadikoy but keep in mind most taxis will not drive up to the hotel, so expect a walk up a hill with your luggage. I enjoyed the breakfast the most during my stay, good food options and lovely view of the sea. Overall a good hotel for budget options.

This was my second stay at the hotel. It's good for it's price, the location is perfect, and I loved the breakfast. The service, however, wasn't good this time. I asked for a wake-up call because I had to take a morning flight. They never did.

This was my second stay at the Sidonya. It is always refreshing and enjoyable. The staff are wonderful. The breakfast/dining area has a stunning overview of the Marmara. Highly recommend.

Perfect place in the asian side of Istanbul many excelente restaurant's nearby also all public transportation like train bus and ferry at walking distance. But the best was the kindness and welcoming of the staff thank you 😊

Mid hotel. Does the job and has great breakfast. A bit further away from the heart of city but still walkable. Rooms were big and pleasant view

The room we booked was a family room with 2 beds and sleeps 3. The front desk did give us the exact room we booked when we checked in. However, the next day the lady asked for more money. She said that we only booked for a room that sleeps 1. They did not tell us when we checked in, and we felt maybe there is something wrong with the Orbitz booking system so we contacted the Orbitz customer service. The customer service took very long, the lady yelled us very rude that we had been sitting in the lobby for an hour and we either had to pay the extra money or leave the hotel. Wt*?! We booked the non-refundable 2 days stay. There was still one day left. We also did not say we were not gonna pay. We just wanted to figure out what happened because we clearly did book family room. This was the worst experience we had in our entire life at a hotel. We were 2 foreigner girls and don't speak turkish. We felt she was taking advantage of this and threatening us. We did end up paying the extra because orbitz refused to refund the one day stay if we decided to leave the hotel. Oh btw, we were asked to pay much more than the difference of the two rooms if booking online. We stayed in a few other hotels in Istanbul and their service was profesional and breakfast was much better. There were still hair in the bathroom and strong cigarette smell from bedding that embedded to my hair. Stay away from this hotel!

Noise of the dogs around hotel didn't allow us to get normal sleep.

We were only booked for one night but would have been perfectly happy to stay for longer as it's a nice little hotel in an excellent location with helpful staff and a perfectly acceptable breakfast. Would definitely return.

We stayed at 3 different hotels on this trip and this was the best one. Excellent value. Breakfast was good. The view from the breakfast are was incredible. The room was small but clean and everything worked.

At first i didn't like it but after my stay i knew its the best Great value to the room and the breakfast is freat with the panoramic view.. and the vale parking is the best

A great stay overall, a comfortable spacious room, a sumptuous breakfast with a stunning view, a convenient central location. The wifi in my room, however, was quite week, could hardly use it on my laptop. Also, the reception person wasn't that helpful during the check-in: didn't provide any information about the wifi login and breakfast hours.
