Horrible staff when came back to the room millions of bugs on the Floor and bed don’t waste your money. Staff refused to accommodate

Great place to stay

Spa needs to be improved by better planning. Shower knobs are old types. Chill shower was missing.

The property and surroundings are beautiful, but the service was disappointing. Due to the property's large size and limited staff, the service was quite slow.

A very well maintained and excellent property for a perfect weekend getaway or a holiday for family and couples. The staff is very helpful and friendly as well. Overall a very good experience for a nice stay.

Ananta Group is the Four Seasons of the Lower Middle Classes! Been staying here a number of years as I have to visit Mayo in Ajmer, to be fair this place has never been great but hasn’t got any worse over the last 10 years. Best place to stay in the area, beautiful property, average service, horrible food.

Well, for the kind of resort and the price, they should offer more. I didn’t like the way they treated me in the restaurant during the only day I went to have dinner there, as an American I was expecting better customer service for foreigners.

A really nice get away-

Pros: - Amazingly beautiful property. - Rooms and bathrooms are very big - Lush green and very clean Cons: - Some staff members are not friendly and look very sad always (doesn’t give a good vibe) - Time and access Restrictions on general facilities like games, some seating zones, and even food menu at different locations.

The Rooms are very very small. No ventilation in the room, the glass window is completely sealed. Feels like you are stuck inside a room. But rest of the hotel premises is very good.

Overall, our stay was pleasant and relaxing. The place was close to nature and clean. However, the breakfast was average, not very exciting. We were given an unexpected upgrade to a bungalow because our initial rooms needed renovation. Moving after one night stay was not pleasant, but the upgrade compensated.

If you consider it like a three star hotel the rooms are fine, the food is good, the restaurant staff is very nice and the idea of the cabanas is also nice. We weren’t at the spa, but it seems very beautiful and well organized. If you consider it a five star hotel, there are some problems: The Thai/Bali-inspired lobby is not even close like one in Thailand and is just a dark and unorganized cabana, to go to some rooms you have to go through a guesthouse like corridor, to cross a parking lot on a bridge, where there is a diesel powergenerator that smokes some rooms (including our), the dirty dishes stay more than 24 hours in the aisle outside the rooms and those are not at all soundproof. I don’t think that this hotel worth the price.

Ananta has really dropped in quality from the last time I visited. The pool is not clean at all. The shower rooms and changing rooms are pathetic and extremely dirty that you can't even stand for a minute. My room had lizard which was caught and thrown out after we called their pest control team but we didn't expect such quality. Dinner was also tasteless. Not even a single dish tasty enough to consume your dinner. The chef should create the buffet with the right balance of Indian and continental dishes. We had to literally eat just plain rice and dal to fill our stomach. Overall, I would really urge the Ananta hospitality team to relook at their hotel quality and cleanliness immediately!
