The room was dirty, empty bottle under the bed (which was not ours). Dust all over the place. The furniture was old. The room smelled bad. The bathroom was not properly cleaned in years! The wall was orange/yellow from not cleaning well. The toilet had hairs on it. Come on, this is not hotel worthy. Its the worst hotel i have ever been in. Breakfast is good. The same applies for the location. However, would highly not recommend staying here.

We were here for the Notorious IBE event which was from Friday until the Sunday. The hotel has a nice breakfast which is well stacked with fruit, cereal and the usual bacon etc....enjoyed the breakfast. However we didn't stay for an evening meal. The event was in Heerlen so that's where we ate. The reception staff were very helpful. When we were checking in, there was a gentleman who wasn't staying at the hotel and got advice from the guy at reception about the other hotels in the area. The receptionist also gave the guy a map on how to get to one of the hotels because the guy didn't have a TomTom or anything similar!!! That's some serious help. Bedroom was a pretty big size, bathroom too, only a shower, no bath.

It was long time ago when this hotel deserved 4 stars. It visible from a distance once had a caring owner, but something happened and it started sliding down on the slope and now it's just the shade of itself. We just arrived and realised probably 2 persons was watching the TV and left they bodyprint in the pillow of the couch. 2 days later, noone knows why, a cleaner (?) guy just opened the door of our apartman, came in and didn't want to leave even if I said there's no room 100, I had to tell him 4-5 times. So he left but didn't give up, ½ an hour later he came back with a lady who was knocking on the door and yelled loud in the same time. I went down, opened the door and she asked me, Am I sure I don't want any cleaning stuffs. Why. Pros: comfy, big bed and pillows, silent place with easy access to all amenities nearby, the 1 bedroom apt is really big, heating works well. Cons: heavily used, dirty equipments, undemanding solutions in maintenance, the kitchen staff's very noisy cleaning process after closing the restaurant.
