If you want a basic, budget hotel then this hotel is for you. The views are superb because it’s locsted up a hill away from the town however it’s locsted 30 minute walk from the main town of Furci Sigulo which means it’s difficult to go out for the evening, unless you have a car. Once in the town you can find basic amenities; restaurants, small convenience shops, pharmacy, train station, bus stops and a pleasant beach. If you go out of season like we did then you may find many of the restaurants closed. You can get the bus and train into Taormina, Catania and Messina. The hotel has a nice pool, rooms are clean and there’s a nice wellness centre (but you have to pay extra to use). If the restaurant at the hotel was open then our stay would have been much better. Overall we got what we paid for but found it a bit boring in the evenings due to a lack of choice for restaurants and the hotel being remote.

We spent a lovely 10 days here and had time to enjoy the spa and treatment too. The spa was great with nice facilities and very clean. The outdoor pool is really clean and nice to swim in. Rooms are spacious and clean and well equipped. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices.

The facilities and location of this hotel is excellent. It's clean, however the rooms are more like an up market hostel and does not fit the standard of the rest of the hotel. Rooms have a bit to be desired. Receptionist extremely helpful and made out stay better. Would still recommend for a 1 night trip but photos did not seem to represent reality.

We arrived after 4 beautiful nights in the Syracuse region. The photographs and reviews of the A Nuciara Park were very promising and we were looking forward to our last 3 nights in Sicily. We booked another hotel within 30 minutes of arriving and left after breakfast happy to forfeit the prepayment. The main negative is the rough, single track, unpaved road which goes uphill to the Hotel. You cannot see what is coming and we met face to face with a car descending with nowhere to go. Not wishing of negotiate this access after our trips out, especially in the dark we decided to leave. There are no pretty lights round the pool, the restaurant is closed in the evening and repairs were being undertaken as we ate our adequate breakfast. The reception staff were very friendly and sorry to see us go. A pizza was delivered to ourr room by a local company - helpful but not enjoyable. It would have cost us 15 euros to swim in the indoor pool and massage treatments were more expensive than the Hotel Principe Fitalia Wellness and Spa in Syracuse which I recommend 100%. Read the poor and terrible reviews in Italian and discover how the owner responds. It says a lot.

Nice place, just a little remote. Roads are squirrelly and small. Not sure how youd find it without a GPS. Expanding, so under some construction now. The views are beautiful.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at home with this place. Giuseppe the owner came right out to greet us, Sara helped with everything and showed us around. Breakfast was delicious, the pool had a great view of Furci and the sea!

Hotel is a bit remote from the village, need a car. Road leading to it very narrow and unpaved - recommend use Waze or Google maps. We had a superior room - great view to the sea, although there is an unfinished construction below marring the view a little bit Great pool, but bring goggles as the water are brine The staff is excellent, very kind and helpful. Owner is very gracious although does not speak English. But people is the reception do speak very well and are very nice and generous. We got stuck with a parking ticket we did not have time to pay and they offered to pay it for us, no extra charge (except for the fine of course). Very quiet and with a homely feeling. Most guests are Italian. Nice for families with kids There is also an indoor spa and pool - possibly good for the cooler months

This hotel deserves so much more attention than it is attracting. Location is very pleasant; personnell very helpfull. Garden, pool, etc. is maintained daily. Restaurant was very very good; a la carte as well as pizza (best piza we had in Sicily during our 2 week stay). Only challenge, apart from 1 waiter, was communicating in English. But with effort from both sides we managed every situation and got answers to all questions. We will be back!
