Just went in for food. Menue looked pricey but the food was amazing and worth it 😋 staff are friendly and attentive. The place looks recently refurbished and nice to sit in. Seems very popular with business people. Great atmosphere and easy to get to. Would definitely look at booking a room in future 👍

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Dartmoor Lodge Hotel in Devon. The hotel is fantastic and all the facilities are modern and recently updated. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm, welcoming, and very relaxing, making it a lovely place to stop and unwind. Although we only stayed for one night, we really enjoyed our breakfast, the food was fresh, tasty, and a great start to the day. The surrounding landscape is absolutely beautiful, with stunning countryside views that make the location feel peaceful and special. A special thank you to Luke and Katie, who were amazing both at reception and during breakfast. Their friendliness and excellent service really made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend Dartmoor Lodge Hotel to anyone visiting the area.

What wonderful welcome we had from the whole team! Add to that a spacious room with a enormous, comfy bed; a smart wet room; fridge (with fresh milk and mini bar); safe; neat tea/coffee kit and a large internet TV- we had absolutely nothing to gripe about. Breakfast the following morning was delicously cooked and served by friendly, attentive staff. All six of us ( three rooms) concluded we had discovered a gem. The owners have done a great job with their refurbishments and considered every detail, whether it is the stylish contemporary decor right through to disabled access throughout. We are already considering what family occasion we can conjure up to return there in the near future. Thoroughly recommended!

We have visited here many times over the years but today was the best visit. Now refurbished the bar area is open, light, clean and we were welcomed by Luke, Viccy and other team members who gave top customer service in an informal and friendly manner. Superb salad washed down with a glass of white - all reasonably priced by today’s standards. Having ridden our motorbikes across the moor it was lovely to come into a warm, comfortable and friendly bar. Many others should take note, thank you for a welcome break.

It's just off the M5 heading south towards Plymouth. It's not particularly obvious where it is, but it's a very nice place to take a break on your journey. Excellent food! More suitable for adults than children which is the beauty about it. I'm sure children are welcome though. Ideal spot for motorbikes to meet up in the Summer!
