Great location, use of sister hotel across the road. Food great, varied. Reception helpful. Could only get WiFi on ground floor, no kettle, no hairdryer but worked round it.

Couldn't fault Apartamentos California on (almost) everything that matters. Room bright and seemed recently renovated. Main area, bedroom and bathroom - plenty of space in all. Big walk-in shower. Huge breakfast choice. Effective A/C (although centrally controlled, it was just right). Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Minor personal moans? It could do with a big boost to the in-room wifi. Add A/C in the bedroom and it'd be my perfect apartment.

After reading some of the reviews i nearly didn't book this hotel we are so glad we did very clean apartment food was good different choices. i would say only down side for us was small pool and didn't get a lot of sun .But could use sister hotel very big and sun all day would recommend this hotel

The reception staff are vey helpful. Always polite and friendly Now the inside has gradually been refurbished the outside would benefit a face-lift to improve the look.

Pleasantly surprised as I’d read some bad reviews. Apartment was spacious and beds comfy. My only criticism was the air on turned off when you left the apartment. Food was good and plenty of choice. The pool area was part shaded and part in the sun, we never had a problem getting a sun lounger. There was the option to use the larger pool in the neighbouring hotel but this was much busier and hard to find a sun lounger. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants (5 min walk) and also to Portaventura World and the station (20 min walk).

Had a nice 8 night stay in the apartments. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly . Basic pool but our boys loved it! And the life guard was nice! Across the road was a nice restaurant called fox and hounds. Food was good, little bit of variety, the half board option. Would recommend this place. But the kitchen came with no kettle plates or cups/ glasses. Quite modern apartments.

Decent standard for family holiday, can use facilities at sister hotel over the road which includes a large pool, I’m fussy on food quality and found it satisfactory. Don’t expect a decent English breakfast but that seems to be the same in any hotel 😁 Only news channels on tv.

This Apartments are pretty basic, although it didn't prevent us from having great vacation. Pros: 1.Close to the Llevant Beach 2.Spacious 3.We had half-board- the breakfast was pretty basic, but the dinner food was very well prepared and had 2 different kind of fish, always delicious. 4. Pool was good, though small and sister property across the street had a bigger pool 5. Air conditioner worked very well and was installed in the place where it didn’t blow directly to the bed (a case in a lot of hotels) 6.Spacious balcony 7.Absolutely terrific drying rack – never had problem drying our bathing staff. 8.Supermarket across the street Cons: 1. Have never seen so small a set of utensils in the kitchen. No kettle, no kitchen knives - only dinner knives, no microwave, no sponges or dishwasher liquid. 2. Staff is not very friendly, varies from semi-friendly to borderline rude and almost no English. 3. In the bathroom – no hairdryer, and no surfaces to put your stuff on. So all-in-all it’s good, but better bring some more stuff, like hairdryer, etc.

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of September. Our stay was good overall; breakfasts were good, as was dinner (unless of course one expects "British" menus). Minor niggles were that although there was free parking nearby one had to cruise around to find a space; and we thought that the onsite parking was a little on the expensive side (e12 per day). However, the total cost of accommodation, meals, and parking etc. represented very good value. (We did not use WiFi on cost grounds). We thought it a little odd that the pool was on the north side of the building, where it received little sun; and rooms on that side were inevitably noisier due to main road traffic.

central so close to all 3mins to beach,, 15 mins walk to parks ,, lovely and clean and great food,, not to many speak good english but irish bars just down the street v helpful ,, and plus can use hotel over the road for ngt life is good

Estuvimos en un apartamento de dos habitaciones. Estaba limpio y era espacioso. Teníamos pensión completa y la comida estaba buena. Mi hija que es celíaca tenía muchas opciones. Un buen lugar para las vacaciones.

Ubicación buena para animación jóvenes y familias playa. Hay que andar a la avenida principal. Camas confortables. La habitación doble tiene ventana con persiana daa un pasillo que transita las personas, con lo cual no se puede abrir. Tiene aire acondicionado se apaga cuando se abre la terraza, que por cierto es amplia y tiene máquina. Si estás en ella pues te llevas el calorcito del aparato. No se puede tener todo y ademas no todos dormimos con aire,muycalurosa. Espacioso salón y cocinay sofá muy cómodo. Tv bien. No hay gel pared baño. Te dan 2 sobrecitos. Muy justo menaje Cocina, no hay ni un mantel ni tan siquiera de usar y tirar. Tampoco para fregar. Frigorífico muy ruidoso y el sofá cama no lo utilizamos pero el que duerma salón tiene ese ruidito. Política de check out, se sale a las 10. Hay margen y no son estrictos. Pero es un lugar de veraneo y el alojamiento tiene que estar abierto a todo tipo de huéspedes. El extranjero que quiera madrugar que lo haga pero el español que quiere dormir más tiene su derecho. Que el checking no se hace a las 10 sino cuando esté habitacion por tanto no se ajusta el horario y se paga por día, echen cuenta de horas. Parking aceptable 15 euros exterior y techado 18 euros por día. Alojamiento que debe ser renovado en política y servicio. Solo se salva el excelente personal que tienen, verdaderos profesionales todos limpieza, recepción, servicio desayuno... Ya los pueden cuidar. Yo desde luego buscaría otra alternativa de alojamiento.
