Nice experience

The hotel staff are very friendly and attended to things promptly and professionally

Very near to the train station. Convenient. Room was kinda small, but understandable as this is japan we are talking about. No luggage forwarding service, hv to drag my bags to the post office myself, luckily it is just a 5 minute walk. Breakfast spread was very small, just eggs, breads, soups & hot drinks.

I asked for Non smoking but room was smoking

This is a no -frills hotel but was clean and comfortable. The location is not particularly good (very little around it and a long walk to restaurants).

Price was right. Standard compact business hotel rooms. Very convenient, a three minute walk from the train station. Buses leave on the other side of the station for Karato fish market.

Right next to train station and many places to explore along the bay. Also far enough away from the main roads that it was generally very quiet at night. Very much enjoyed it!

Stayed one night to do some shopping and sightseeing nearby. Check-in was quick and the room was comfortable with a nice from of the city. It was convenient to stay right next to Shimonoseki train station.

I am not sure if the staff spoke English because I speak Japanese, but the staff definitely seemed accomodating. I checked in late and the clerk helped me find a place online that sells pizza. The actual room was spotless, it was kind of comfy as far as the bed is concerned, and I could control be heat using an A/C switch located next to the bed. 3/5.

The service was great. However, breakfast was not great at all with only limited choice and supply.

I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of August, and everything was perfect. It is located barely 5 minutes (walking) from the station, so even with luggage, it is no problem getting there easily. You just need to make sure that you go to Shimonoseki station, though, not Shin-Shimonoseki (the shinkansen stop), otherwise, you will need to take a bus or walk a long longer. The bus terminal is in front of the station. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and with a choice of soft or hard pillow, and the fridge big enough to store a few things. There is a laundry room on the 2nd floor. I was able to check in about 20 minutes early. Overall, great hotel.

Hotel staff did not have the best English capabilities, and were un-apologetic regarding a few situations that should have required them do be. The general attitude was as if the customers had no where else to stay, and spend their money. The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. If you want to take advantage of the "free" breakfast, you better go early or the eggs will be gone, with no more replacements.....

Our room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel is very well located, right next to the station. The room (a semi-double) was small, but all we needed for the night. Nice big bath too!

Okay for overnighter. No perks or amenities. Permeates of sewer smell.

I am satisfy with my stay, the location is accessible less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel.

Just stayed one night before taking the ferry to Busan. Convenient for train and ferry, clean, comfy, and amazing staff.

The hotel Internet was not accessible on my IPad although a router was provided. There was no remedy and this is not good for business traveller at all. The receptionist Nishimura was great and her assistance was a blessing. Hotel strictly adheres to 1000 am check out and every hour extra charged at Yen 1000, no compromise at all! It's some distance to train station and not so near as indicated in map.
