Picture perfect, will definitely be back

Very handy just across the road from the beach. Not the type of beach we are used to as it was only 5 people deep and everyone had a parassol. We just popped in for a swim now and again and rinsed off and sat by the pool.

Great location across from the beach. Room was small but very comfortable and had a nice balcony with an ocean view. the restaurant was nice and breakfast above average. staff was professional and very helpful. the only item to note is limited parking. the first night i had to park a block away and walk to the hotel, 2nd day i was able to secure a spot on the property. Overall a great choice and value. I would stay there again. the photo is of the actual room i had with the balcony.

Beautiful place, but kind of tacky to charge for drinking water without having any other thing in the minibar and without stating that it is not free.

Very nice ammenities, clean and modern rooms. Very close to the beach although there are several beaches to be visited in town

We booked 4 nights at Rio Buzios Hotel in January 2016. The pros: * Room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. The cons: * The biggest negative was that we (as a gay couple) felt uncomfortable staying at this hotel. We are both well travelled and have stayed at many, many places globally and in Brazil where we have been made to feel completely at ease. This was not one of those places! There was a general feeling of not being welcome, particularly with the night staff on reception at the hotel. On one evening we invited a friend of ours who was travelling with us and staying at a neighbouring hotel to come for a drink on our balcony. We received a phone call from reception which made us feel like criminals and very bluntly asked us to remove our guest from the premisses. For the rest of our stay at the hotel we received "dodgy" looks from hotel staff who made us feel extremely uncomfortable. As a result result we ended up leaving two days early without even requesting a refund. The hotel staff did not ask why we were leaving early. By comparison, the room next to us had a party with 4 visitors in their room until midnight. We complained but the hotel staff did nothing about it, simply telling us that they are "Russian" - apparently that (as well as being straight) makes it ok. (The staff did not verify that the party goers next door were guests). * I would go on to mention the terrible tours that the hotel pushed on us, but I am out of characters!!

Equipe do hotel é muito bacana, quarto bem limpo, localização excelente. O café da manhã poderia ser melhor, e as músicas do hotel também, beira mar e tocando músicas lentas, deveria tocar uma bossa nova. Mas no geral, a experiência foi boa, voltarei!

Hotel maravilhoso, em frente a Praia de João Fernandes, atendimento impecável, com ótima infraestrutura, próximo de restaurantes.

Por ser um hotel boutique, esperava mais do hotel, principalmente o café da manhã, muito simples.

Foram dias incríveis. Hotel fantástico, piscina maravilhosa, funcionários diligentes. Não tive nenhum pedido que não foi atendido. Quarto espaçoso e confortável. O lugar, mesmo no Carnaval, é de uma paz incrível. Espero um dia voltar.

Foi excelente, porém achei os funcionários da segurança muito exigentes sem um pouco de paciência com horários etc , afinal estávamos passeando e merecíamos um pouco mais de atenção e instruções aliviando um pouco quanto ao tempo de piscina, sauna, etc. Outra coisa o restaurante para jantar muito fraco.
