Worst checking I ever experienced. The security man was doing it and he wasn't speaking any English. He was so overwhelmed by the situation that he was using two phones at the same time talking with different people. I ve also noticed the man is doing some cleanup around the pool, wouldn't be suprised if he had some other tasks, so if anything give that man a raise at least! Some of the guests people.

Construction nearby was loud in mornings and a lot of people talking loudly at night also

It was good, however the AC barely works. The temperature in the room was warm and there was no way to regulate that.

The hotel was in a good location, very close to the promenade and the beach. The room was spacious and very clean. Would benefit from some renovation. The breakfast could have offered a wider range of food.

The room was incredibly small. I cannot imagine how a large person would handle it I am a very petite person so I managed it but I mean That room was REALLY SMALL!

Nice hotel near the beach and close to town. WiFi not 100% . Room ok. Breakfast was also ok. Staff friendly and helpful.

single room like a prison cell and bathroom too small to sit on loo. Double room fine but on floor 6 with frosted windows and not enough electric light to see to put on lipstick still a bit cell like. But staff were wonderful with excellent English and did all they could to be helpful. No other English visitors at the time so rather lonely

My daughter and I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. We were room only so did not use many facilities. However, the reception staff were very helpful and always friendly and polite, with special thanks to Joel!

The hotel was clean the staff really helpful and friendly. It was the right end of town so not too touristy and very close to the beach. It was perfect for what we were looking for.

We had a short break in our first time to Gran Canaria and chose this hotel based on previous reviews so wasn't surprised by anything as they were fairly accurate. We were not after a luxury experience and just wanted to explore Las Palmas by day and have somewhere clean and functional.

I stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting family. It was the first time I had stayed in the Hotel Alisios and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff are friendly and the hotel is a 30 second walk from the lovely Playa de Las Canteras seafront. On the downside, the bed and pillows weren't very comfortable (rock hard bed and small, firm pillow), but I have found this to be the case in virtually all of the many different hotels that I have stayed at in Las Palmas. Also, the wifi was woefully slow (so bad that I reverted to using the 3G on my phone for data because it was faster !!!), so if you're visiting Las Palmas on business and need a fast, reliable internet connection this may not be the hotel for you ! But overall I was satisfied - it's a decent value hotel and I would happily stay there again.

One minor complaint: There were no English-language TV channels, and no list of TV stations provided in the room.

We stayed 2 nights and it was great though we did not enjoy sun bathing to the beach due to weather condition. But the place really clean great view, outside invironment were clean, hotel location is ok very near to beach, front desk staff were great, the only thing that was not good was our card key left on the inside door was taken by the cleaner in accident? As we purposely left it on so to charge our ipad, and the cleaner clean our room without informing us, also we did not know that if we wont allow our room to be clean we should leave card not to disturbed but we were not given the card. But anyway everything is ok. And i really appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel
