Just clean, friendly and excellent location to Town

Excellent hotel in centre, good size room.

Liked: Location, breakfast at The Pinch next store, the place was clean. Disliked: The room and hotel lobby looked nothing like the pictures. Our room was plain and ugly and uncomfortable. Parking is stacked and you have to give your keys to the front desk (not as advertised). Service carts left in the hallways all night. It felt like the staff had given up making the place seem nice in the time of COVID and low occupancy. This should be rated as a 1 star or 2 star hotel. We checked out a night early partly due to the disappointment in the room. There was a mistake in the charge, and the hotel promised to refund the money. So far, it has not come through and multiple attempts to contact them have yielded silence. Very disappointed honestly.

Very friendly staff...good location, very clean, good business hitel

An older building with its share of quirks, but an extremely wonderful staff and an awesome breakfast. it also has the added benefit of being in a great location, just down the street from the historic old city and a five minute walk from the train station. Well worth the money.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was larger by European standards. The breakfast was above average. Mostly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Great location, 3 mins walk from train station, bus stop and supermarket Migros. Easy access to all tourist attractions. Friendly staff and room is clean, spacious and well-equipped. Bed is very comfortable and our room was in the 4th floor with a great view. We would stay here again.

The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. I booked a one-night stay here because of a most excellent stay I had a dozen years ago. Still a wonderful staff and great breakfast, but the furnishings seem tired and worn and maybe could use a coat of paint. Nevertheless, I plan to return in a few months for a longer stay. :)

Small hotel very close to main railway station. Comfortable, very nice staff. 10 minute walk to old town. Parking on site.

The hotel is very well located, only 2 mins from the main station. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

good location to both the train station (5 min walk), historic/tourist area and stores in general (12 min) very well kept building, pleasant staff, decent breakfast, good bed, decent bathroom/shower, nice terrace, quiet street generally only downside when there (which clearly will subside) was a side street construction going on starting at 7:30 am

This hotel had the nicest employees we encountered on our stay in Switzerland! All staff were friendly and helpful, giving us excellent suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. Upon arrival, they provided a parking pass so we could leave our car on the street, as access to their lot was blocked by construction. Our room was a good size, and the beds were comfortable. They even offered a variety of pillows, which was greatly appreciated after a long flight. The bathroom was roomy and spotless, the shower pressure was terrific, and the toiletries were high quality. Happily, there was a tea kettle in the room. There were adequate outlets for charging our electronics, reading lights on both sides of the bed, and great Wifi. Breakfast was quite tasty, with ample choices, very good bread, and lattes. Extra touches were the bowl of fruit set out for guests, the bowl of candy at the reception desk, and the brightly colored hardboiled eggs at breakfast. The hotel is on a quiet street and is a short walk to the old town.

This is absolutely ridiculous, I've received all the room booking confirmation before I arrived on 24Dec, however, when I arrived there, the hotel is closed until 7Jan!!!!! I had to run around to find another hotel so that I don't need to sleep under the bridge!!! The hotel shouldn't accept any booking if they decided to shut it down completely during the festive season.

This hotel provides an excellent breakfast, staff are friendly. I had an apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. Building construction across the road commences weekdays at 7am so it was a little noisy but bearable

Nice clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast buffet. Unfortunately it was too warm without a way to turn down the heat, so we slept with the window open.

Upgraded to apartment as the room iwas given was next to the old style noisy lift well. The apartment was large with separate lounge and kitchen.
