Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was run down and needs to be renovated. Tv didn't work and ac was very noisy and loud.

Lovely little village type hotel compound, Great location and a sand beach. Rooms are clean and have a strong AC. Lovely place to stay.

The property was very clean and very central to the Agios Nicholas area. I would stay there again happily.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment, which was cleaned every day, bed made, towels changed etc. Conveniently located by the beach and with a bus stop nearby, only 10 mins to Agios Nikolaos. Quiet sandy beach with a couple of nice restaurants/bars, pedalos, beautiful clear sea. What more could you ask for!!

The area was as expected, by a nice beach with a small taverna (with great food) which we really enjoyed. The room was clean and enough for a couple but the bathroom was really small. I can’t really complain for anything when it comes to the hotel itself however, there was a feeling that the staff were not that happy to have us (or other people) there. The receptionist and the taverna staff (especially Manos) were really welcoming, supportive and friendly but there was not the same at the coffee shop and the beach (everything belongs to the hotel). There, we met staff that most likely are there against their willingness, we never saw a smile when taking or delivering an order, nor thanking or asking whatever so all in all, completely different behaviors but at the end, I would probably visit it again if I would visit Agios Nikolaos.

The rooms were quite small but very clean and adequate if like us you do not spend much time in your room other than to shower and sleep. We had a small top floor room with a balcony which was lovely to sit out for a coffee in the morning and for a night cap but do beware of the mozzies. It’s very quaint and we would defo go back there again as it’s set out like a little Greek street with vines and fruit trees growing everywhere, very pretty. It was very quiet due to Covid but a welcome break for sunshine and Greek hospitality. The taverna across the road from the apartments and on the beach is beautiful and sells fab local cuisine and is also very friendly. You can also stay on this beach which is popular if you like the rows of sun beds with waiter service but we prefer to find a more natural beach so a car is pretty essential if you’re stopping here and want to explore. We walked to Agios Nikolaos a couple of days but probably wouldn’t do this with children as parts of the road are a little hazardous. All in all we enjoyed everything about it. Would go back again no problem 👌❤️

Fantastic base near Agios Nikolaos - beautiful beach, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and lovely restaurant on the beach side of the road. Quiet spot away from the busier town close by. Swimming at beach very safe with free sun beds and umbrellas.

The hotel and room are at the budget end of the spectrum, so don't expect five star facilities, but the room was cleaned well daily, the bed was fine, shower worked well, you could make a basic breakfast and cup of tea, all the basics were good. For the very reasonable price we paid, this was all we wanted. The beach opposite is one of the best we saw in Crete. Sun beds, which are free provided that you buy a drink, seemed to always be available. The restaurant overlooking the beach is good serving the standard Greek fare, its location under the trees, with the waves lapping gently in the background is absolutely lovely. There is a road between the hotel and beach/restaurant, but it does not have heavy traffic and the visibility is good, it was not a problem. It was very helpful having a mini supermarket in the hotel. The bus stop for buses to Agios Nikolaos was right by the hotel. Taxis to Agios were only 9 euros. We loved it here and if we return to Crete, it would be our first choice.

The "with dinner" option isn't worth it...basic fixed menu, unknown in advance, shared basic salad (not even any feta on Greek salad) and desert (usually free in Crete) and not really very good. Regular menu would have been cheaper with better options. No wifi sort of silly. Reception had to be called all 3 times, nobody staffing the office. Still, nice people, but not worth it based on other options.

Cute little apartment hotel near the beach, with a nice restaurant on the beach that belongs to the hotel. Great if you like the area and you would like to make trips to other beaches and attractions, too. The breakfast was however not great.

We are glad to have selected this hotel. It has a private quiet beach so easy access to swim anytime we want. The water was always calm and clear. Staff are excellent - very polite and helpful. We are very pleased with our room, which was clean with two balconies and there was unlimited supply of figs from the overhanging tree right inside our back balcony. We really can't find fault with this accommodation and wish we can come again.

I enjoyed the location.Easy access to buses. Beautiful sunrise in the morning at the beach. Market on site for food and supplies. I like the kitchenette in the room for making my own breakfast and lunches. Sitting on the balcony in the courtyard in the evenings was lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 10 days at Ammoudara Beach Hotel & Appts. It was great value the service was excellent and the location was extremely good. The private beach, bar, restaurant and shop made everything so easy and relaxing. The whole complex is designed beautifully. We would stay here again and we do not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Our hotel/apartment was fantastic, clean and comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel incredibly welcome. We had everything we could possibly need and for so cheap. Pool is lovely and clean but only used it once as the sea is just across a road, fantastic for early morning and evening swimming with a beautiful backdrop. Wi-Fi and air conditioning both work well and for no extra charge at all. Only thing we felt was odd was the wardrobes yet no hangers, however there is plenty of storage space and even a washing dryer just outside your door. Incredible value for money, great relaxed atmosphere. We will be back!

Hébergement plein de charme, très propre, confortable et spacieux. Très bob petit déjeuner. Devant une belle plage de sable et à 10mn du centre-ville d’Agios nikolaos. Nous n’avons pas essayé la piscine mais elle avait l’air très bien.
