We had a lovely stay in The Carmel. It is more than just a motel. The room is very clean and fresh, aircon works very well. You have everything you need in the room. You can play pickle ball, basketball. There is a pool and bbq. You can also borrow a bike (quite a few of them hardly ran out) to ride around. Great walking/bike riding track to the lighthouse ans the breakwall. The staffs are so friendly and professional. They will give you tips for what to do, where to dine in the lovely town. The stay definitely made our trip to Yamba enjoyable.

We liked it so much we came back on the return journey. Staff were lovely, caring. Followed up for late check in and made sure we knew we had out of hours support if we needed it. I will come back for sure.

Whilst staff were friendly and helpful the room was not what I expected. Majority of customer reviews were very positive and referred to the quality of the rooms. Perhaps I was assigned the only room that had not had a renovation? Vanity in bathroom was old and starting to fall apart, pop-up sink plug was broken and sitting in the sink. However the biggest issue was the mattress on the bed which I can honestly say is the worst mattress I have ever slept on. Sadly I am now needing to visit a chiropractor to address the issues this terrible mattress has caused

Enjoyed my stay. Staff were friendly and felt safe. Airconditioned and very cute comfy rooms. Would stay again. Wish it was pet friendly so I could bring my babies next time.

Lady at check-in gave us great informative on the area as we hadn’t visited Yamba previously. Very lovely to deal with. Accom very modern looking & the cleanest of all accom we have stayed in over recent weeks whilst road-tripping. Loved our stay here.

Very clean room, staff was lovely, The dining and shopping was excellent. Beaches are great. Loved the room, the bed was really comfortable and we could see our car from the front which was a comfort to us.
