Booked a twin room through hotels.com and arrived quite late 22.00hr, check in was surprisingly quick and easy and we made are way to floor 7. On openening the door we looked and saw a double bed ok this has happened a few times so checked,it was two singles together made as a double so carried in getting ready with the assumption when we were out eating they could change the bedding! Long story short 3 attempts to get this simple problem rectified!!! Not sure if this hotel has new management or something but something didn’t seem right as there were staff in black shirts and tracks bottoms and trainers on serving breakfast in the morning!!
Having stayed here the once I decided to book it again the next night when we couldn’t make it home, so again checked in slightly later this time and same again good swift check in and given floor 4 this time! Must point out it was the same lady that checked me in for the second night as it was the first!!! Low and behold it was a double bed again!!! And this time it was a double!! Having no time to muck about we quickly showered and went out for food but when I confronted the member of staff who checked me in she got all arrogant and blamed hotels.com for the problem because the info that I type in when booking a room doesn’t get passed on to the hotel!!! Never mind the fact it took 3 attempts to rectify this problem the night before! And she recognised me the second night!! So really not impressed with this hotel and will not return!
