The location was excellent, but using the elevator and stairs was inconvenient.

Trust worthy staff. Manager Blarek (not sure if I spelled that correct…) assured that they have staff that has been there a long time and help keep safe the travelers property. I had left my wallet full of cash. They found it! Manger is wiring me back my entire money to western union so I can now pick it up in another city. We forget thier are people who help us with our journey and enjoy it. They are very professional and know exactly what they are doing. They certainly did. 2 thumbs up for the management and support staff. I am completely a very satisfied customer. Thanks again!

The place was clean but there was a very strong damp smell in the single room which was unpleasant and should be dealt with. In addition, the safety deposit box did not work and owner was unable to sort it. For 125GBP per night for a single room, I would not expect to have to put up with these issues. However, in fairness to them it is fair to note that the location on La Ramblas and directly outside the metro station is excellent.

Pictures are not as they said. Very difficult access with big luggage. Well located.

In an excellent location half way along La Rambla in the heart of Barcelona. Lots of places to eat very close by. The hostal is directly opposite the underground station Liceu so very easy to get around. The room was a little tired looking but very clean and the bathroom had everything you need. There is a small lift but it doesn’t go all the way to ground level.

Clean room

The room was fine and the bed was good. There was an intermittent loud noise of water falling through pipes coming from the a/c that came on and off throughout the day and night and should be addressed.

The location is first class. Just at the center of the Ramblas, across the Mercer de la Boqueria. Still the rooms are noise free. My room was small but had all the essentials. Bathroom was very clean and the staff was friendly.

Different in person compared to online. Had higher expectations before arriving.

Elevator, fits 2 people

This is a great place! Very convenient, right on the Rambla and across the street from the oldest market in Barcelona! In the heart of the Gothic area -- restaurants, cafes, shopping and attractions are all around. Close to the Barcelona Cathedral. We walked everywhere including Parc Guell and Monjuic. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Our room was spacious, clean, lots of lights, and we liked the colored lights in the bathroom! There is an elevator, but we didn't use it, choosing to go up and down the stairway.

Clean quiet room. But bed needs new mattress or topper. Staff very helpful. Elevator only starts on the 2nd floor. Great location, near all.

I had to book this hotel very last minute because my flight was canceled. Overall, the stay was okay, the rooms were decent and clean. However, the Wi-Fi didn’t work on the first day due to technical issues, which was inconvenient. The biggest problem was the air conditioning in the bedroom: it was extremely noisy, especially when the fan was on the highest setting, and it often made it hard to fall asleep. For a short stay, it’s manageable, but if you’re not expecting to be stuck there, it’s not the most comfortable option.

This place is not how it looks like in the pictures, however, the staff are super nice. There is a lot of noise from outside because it’s right in front of the popular areas. The place is not bad but it’s in a complex where it’s shared with other tenants if that makes sense. The room that I got was nice and clean so was the restroom very modern looking. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re just staying a couple of nights and seeking just a quick place to crash. But if you’re looking into staying in and enjoying the view with breakfast etc this is not it. There is absolutely no parking nearby. I used taxis
