The room was hot but then outside temp had reached 35 degrees on the day we arrived! Two fans in the room helped plus a couple of showers. Room and ensuite were well presented and breakfast was just perfect.

Absolutely marvellous!! We stayed for 2 nights in this bed and breakfast with an African themed grillhouse restaurant downstairs, with indoor and outdoor dining opportunities, and we couldn’t fault a thing. The staff were all so cheerful and helpful and nothing was too much to ask. We loved our en-suite room with complimentary toiletries and everything we could need including a coffee machine and fan! The bed was comfy and provided a great night sleep with fluffy pillows and duvet. Breakfast in the morning was chosen the night before from a wide range of possibilities for all tastes. Parking was available onsite next to the main building and it had plenty of places for parking all shapes and sizes of vehicles. We will be back!

Lovely place. Trouble sleeping due to the heat , they supplied 2 fans so couldn’t do much more. Food was also fantastic

Stayed at the Percy hotel whilst on business and have to say the room and facilities were excellent. One standout was the restaurant which I dined in on both evenings. Speciality is the steaks and the Tuesday steak offer where I had a 16oz rump which I gave to say was the best cut of meat I have had in a very longtime. I would definitely put it on my must visit again places

We truly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Percy Arms. Hosts and staff were exceptional. Food options were outstanding, and the room was comfortable despite unseasonably warm temperatures. Excellent location to venture out from, or as a stopover for bike tours. Train within walking distance. Our trip was a one off, but would return to Percy Arms if returning to the area again.

Really nice room with a very comfy bed. Food and atmosphere in the pub was great for dinner. I had to leave early and couldn’t make breakfast so they even made up a take away sausage sandwich for me with some water and fruit which was left by my door.

Friendly welcome from lady on duty. Lovely clean room. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Parking was simple and felt very safe.

Beautiful location, fantastic room, the food and drink offering was amazing, the staff were awsome, the breakfast great.. Not much left to praise.

Free ample parking. Registration number given to reception. Room lovely and airy and bright. Comfy bed and good linen. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Overall a great place to stay.

I never normally do reviews but what a fantastic hotel. From the very minute of arrival I welcomed into the Percy Arms. Fantastic warmth and generosity from all those involved. The rooms were absolutely amazing and well presented throughout. The ample parking and amazing food was another great addition to a fantastic stay. I will definitely be back. A very well recommended hotel and venue.

We booked this hotel as we were going to see Eric Clapton at G Live, from the moment we walked through the door we were made welcome by the owner Alfie, everyone we talked to couldn't be more friendly, the food was exceptional ( lunch and breakfast) and the room perfect, highly recommend staying here.

I've been a few times to eat and stay over and always have a great stay. Staff really friendly and food is perfect. I look forward to my next visit.

Check in was good, car park was busy - it was bank holiday Monday but there is parking on main road. Clean room with bath nice! Bar very good and sat outside in the sunshine ☀️😄 Dinner and breakfast was good as always

Lovely place to stay, high quality. Accommodated us with a takeaway breakfast as we had to leave earlier than the scheduled breakfast time. We had an evening meal in the pub which was superb. A slight bit of noise from the pub in the room during working hours but only to be expected, very quiet otherwise. Definitely would stay there again 👍
