We were celebrating my parents 49th wedding anniversary and they ensured we celebrated well. It was difficult booking the à la carte restaurants but once that was arranged we had a wonderful time. My wife and I stayed at Dreams Madeira for 5 nights and had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was incredibly spacious, modern and very comfortable. The room had plenty of space to relax and unwind, and it really made our stay feel even more luxurious and enjoyable. One of the highlights for us was the incredible infinity pool overlooking the sea. The views were absolutely stunning and created such a peaceful atmosphere. Sitting by the pool and looking out over the ocean felt like something from a postcard and quickly became one of our favourite places in the resort. We also enjoyed the spa, which was a perfect place to switch off and relax. The whole experience felt calming and added another level of luxury to our trip. Everything was clean, well maintained and designed to help you completely unwind. The cocktails were fantastic as well — plenty of choice and made perfectly every time. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying the evening atmosphere, having great drinks with beautiful surroundings made the experience even better. The staff throughout the resort were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The food was excellent, with a good variety of options, and the whole hotel had such a relaxing atmosphere. This trip gave us amazing memories and quality time together. We would highly recommend Dreams Madeira to couples and families looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

We arrived at night so we could not see the beauty of this resort. After a very long and difficult trip to arrive at the resort, our first impression was how wonderful and helpful the staff was. We were upgraded to the most beautiful villa. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel arranged for a private room at the most popular restaurant. They made our anniversary dinner very special. The attention was unmatched and truly appreciated. The resort is truly amazing for those who enjoy excellent food, quiet moments, hiking, ocean activities. The city of Funchal is a 30min ride but worth it. Lots to do and see. We will definitely return but plan on spending a longer period of time to get to enjoy everything the resort and Madeira have to offer.

All inclusive. What else can be said?! Great location. Outside of the city but that’s exactly what we wanted. A couple great hikes in the surrounding areas. Just a very pleasant and perfect situation!

Beautiful resort. Great food. Lots of options on things to do. Cleaning Staff forgot to stock our fridge with drinks and water at times. Had trouble the last few days getting reservations at restaurants due to there only being 2 open each night. Would recommend having someone available to cart people to their suites day and night as quite a hike uphill to a lot of suites. The restaurant Voce was wonderful for lunch. Stunning views and easy access to a wide variety of activities. The bar had live music and silent discos, which was all fun. We’d come back again for sure.

Dreams resort is absolutely perfect from the doorway guy till cleanliness of everything. The views are amazing.

A reserva feita no restaurante Carvão, não correu bem. Depois de se ter dado ordem do que pretendíamos, esperamos cerca de 45 minutos para ser servidos, e para além disso um dos pratos estava mal confecionado. Também no restaurante SABORES, o jantar do dia dos namorados, que estava marcado para as 20h30, só nos deram ordem para entrar muito perto das 21H. A saída do parque de estacionamento, também foi atribulada (descoordenação entre informação dada na receção), levou a que ficasse bloqueado na régua de saída, quando o parque já tinha sido pago. Sugestão: Muito dos funcionários não sabem falar Português, seria bom dar formação nesse sentido.

Right from our arrival the staff took care of us. Buffet closed at 10pm and we arrived at 945. They took us to the buffet and told us not to worry, our bags would be in our room. As the week went on we enjoyed the amenities of the hotel. Lots of great activities to do at the resort including local drink making, art, yoga, tai chi, meditation, exercise classes, tile decorating. Food was outstanding. Never been to a resort where the food was so good. Al a carte options were awesome. Buffet was incredible for breakfast lunch and supper Weather was so good. 19-22 degrees daily. The pools were cool but refreshing in the sun. Tours around the island were easy to book. And fun to do. We did jeep tours of the northwest and northeast part of the island 2 separate days. Pickup and drop off were at the hotel. Super simple. Super fun I would recommend dreams hotel and the island of Madeira to everyone who enjoys top notch food, kind people, and wonderful scenery. A hikers paradise as well. We will be coming back. Dreams hotel was so great.

We had a wonderful stay at Dreams - which exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly, warm and helpful. We remember these people and the good service they gave with a smile Bar - Antonio Entertainment - Sofia, Bruna, David, Carmen, Grace, Pedro Reception- Emmanuel, Mariana, Basilio Coffee - Bela, Linda Spa - reception Restaurants- Natalia But all staff were very warm and welcoming. It felt to us that the staff were well respected and looked after by the Resort.

I was very disappointed with Expedia and how they handled my trip and I was not able to get to my destination and will not refund anything of my costs, although on their website states that only the first day will be charged. My vacation was ruined, my money is gone and my time. Thanks for nothing!! Never again will I make this mistake, I don’t feel like a customer, I feel like a victim! Used and abused by the system.

Wonderful stay over Christmas. It is a gorgeous resort.

The location was beautiful. The rooms a cleanliness of the hotel was good. Staff were friendly but not very organised or knowledgeable which was a little frustrating at times.

Staff and amenities. I have already spoken with Expedia around our concerns and issues.
