I stayed for 2 nights and had a room with a balcony. I enjoyed it and was very happy with my stay. The hotel was well maintained, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was conveniently located near restaurants, the ocean and shopping. I would stay here again.

It’s a decent place to stay and well located but don’t expect anything fancy! My room was renovated and looked clean. It also offers on site parking and during certain periods it’s free. However finding parking on the street isn’t too difficult either.

We booked this hotel because of its convenient location in town. We were hoping to get the essentials out of a hotel- safe, comfortable, easy, good location and that we all did. Our only complaint is that it was a bit smelly in certain locations, and there was a large window in our shower that opened to a bunch of electrical wires which was not the nicest to see. Besides these minor inconveniences, it was a totally fine stay.

Shower head sprayed water everywhere from the top. Poor connection to the supply pipe. This has been a problem for a while. Paint on the ceiling was damaged from the water. I informed both the maid and front deck. Gustav, who checked me in was EXCELLENT!

Good place to stay in Punta del Este. Clean, comfortable, very well situated and affordable. The breakfast is simple but very nice, indeed. And the staff is just great. In other words, it is not the Ritz but a really nice place. We loved it!

the staff are awesome, you are 1/2 a block from the main strip and two blocks either way to the beach. you can walk to most places so you save on transport.

This is less of a "hotel" than a quasi hostel with a few single rooms, though it does an excellent job at what it is. For a budget traveler, this place was more than sufficient with a superb location and a low price. As a hostel, there are two main bathrooms/showers which are shared, and a half dozen rooms. A simple breakfast of toast, tea and some fruit is provided, as well as helpful staff who speak English at least a bit. Directly across the street from the Teatro Solid and steps to the old town and Independence Square. A simple place to sleep for a couple of nights for a low price. I found the hotel to be exactly what I expected and I would stay here again. I would recommend, especially if looking to save some money and willing to share a bathroom.

When looking online and with Tripadivsor, I saw pictures of a fairly modern quaint hotel with glass half walls in the shower and nicely decorated comfortable rooms. I paid for a double deluxe which should have been a larger room, but they did not have one with a balcony could only fit me in a room with stairway cutting into a quarter of the room. Yet they still charged me for the larger room. The balcony looked over a horrible back alley and was tiny. They TV was smaller than my laptop screen. The room itself could not have been any smaller or nothing would have fit. The bathroom was old and outdated with no countertop as was shown in the pictures, with an old shower curtain and the water heater in the shower leaking rust all over the shower floor. The toilet was noisy and took twenty -thirty minute to fill up each time. The moldings were not complete and falling off the walls. And the maze I had to go through to find the room was ridiculous. I actually told the front desk that I may be leaving once I saw the room, but lucky for them (unlucky for me) it was a busy weekend and there were no rooms available. It was only one night, but I will not go back.

The location was excellent. They gave you towels and chairs for the beach free. I thought the hotel Was a bit pricey. The air con made so much noise. The whole area is expensive, but worth it! Breakfast was excellent.

I'm visiting my husband's family in Canelones, Uruguay. We wanted to go to the beach for a couple of days so he decided to take me to Punta Del Este for my first time. Most places are crazy expensive, especially during the holidays, but we were able to find this place for less than $100 U.S. Dollars a night. There was complimentary breakfast served until 11:30 a.m. I can't say if it was any good because I never got out of the room in time. The hotel also offers beach towels, beach chairs, adapters for electronic devices and all staff is friendly. Did I mention it's walking distance to both beaches and to the Casino. There are also lots of restaurants and stores nearby.
