We booked a King room. Upon arrival, the front desk agent said that there were no more King Deluxe rooms and that we would be getting 2 twin beds. She said that if we wanted a King bed, we would have to pay 2000 baht extra for the next level room. When we said that we booked a King room, she said the app should not have allowed it. This is not the guest's fault. If we book a King room, we expect a King room. If the only King room available is a grade above what we booked, they should give us a complimentary upgrade. I know this because I worked for big hotel companies for 8 years.
