The japanese room we booked was spacious and we appreciate that there's bottled water provides daily even if we didn't consume the previous bottles unlike in hotels where if you don't consume, they don't replenish or is a one time complimentary drinks. Daily cleaning was thorough. Unfortunately, because it's a family run business, the tatami had some stains from being soiled previously which some people would mind. However, given the price of the stay, can't complain. The futon is a little thin if you're not used to sleeping oj the ground but I'm sure you can request for extra layers from the front desk if needed. There's lots of highly rated restaurants just right on the stretch where the hotel is, but requires advanced booking. Highly recommend checking out this yakitori place (博多とりかわ 琥珀の月) Hakata Torikawa Kohatsu No Tsuki. Bar/high chairs only, takes up to a max of 8-9 pax. I reserved 1-2 months in advance with the help of my Japanese friend.

It's a decent place to stay for a few nights. Layout of the room is more like a studio amd a lot more spacious than your normal hotel room. Laundromat is available and also free coffee and tea in the morning. While furnishings is not in pristine condition, its fine and you'll have a decent stay.

第一次住這種公寓式酒店，還是和式的，是在日本住過空間最大又便宜的酒店了。設備很齊全，比一般酒店更全，有廚房廚具微波爐，浴室也很大，而且每天都會打掃，雖然設施和房偏舊，但都打掃得很乾淨，唯一要習慣出入要鎖門，感覺像在日本租房子住那樣，晚上也沒聽到外面很吵鬧，入住體驗非常好了

Large comfortable room with kitchenette, full size refrigerator and good spit system AC. Located close to Watanabe-Dori subway system within 5-minute walk. Area is extremely safe with a variety of eateries, shopping, convenience stores and Hakata’s famous Yatai food stalls. I would definitely stay at the Plaza Furo Hotel for future Fukuoka visits.

Desk staffs are kind, witty and helpful. Everything is fine except (1) the facilities are old (2) futon (not bed mattress and no bed frame) is thin, not suitable for back pain or handicapped guests.

Great neighborhood with easy transportation options. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was more of an apartment and much more than anticipated! Lots of space! There are croissants and coffee/tea for the morning, but with a fridge and kitchen you can do what you want. Not a modern hotel, however very comfortable and well appointed.

The manager was friendly and welcoming, the room is really big and cozy for the price, and the location is fantastic. No real complaints, I loved it.

Surprisingly, they allowed for early check-in while typically it may not be in common. They were quite accommodating and allowed for me to leave my luggage with them until my flight. The room is quite spacious as it was an apartment style which allowed for cooking for those who may be interested. It is a little farther to Tenjin area, but walkable if you don't mind a 20 minute walk.

Staff is helpful and nice even not fluent in English. Only one thing is the air conditioning is not so cool but others is just nice and convenient location. Keep it up

It's quite old and not the most sparkling, but it's cheap and the location is good.

Location is very good, lots to do and close by. Very nice staff, family owned and operated, very helpful, booked my massage, my Japanese is minimal and couldn't book, asked for help and they arranged it for me.

clean and cosy room, friendly staff. 5 min walking distance to Watanabetori and yakuin stations. Great value for money.

Check-in and check-out was fast. Centrally located to shopping, dining, transportation. Wonderful in-room amenities and was offered a gift upon check-out.

Close to bars and restaurants and short 10 min ride on bus to hakata station. Its a real different experience sleeping on a futon in taditional japanese setting with good shower and kitchen facilities available as well. Size of room is large in terms of japanese standards.

Convenient location. Reasonable price.
