Room and bedding were clean and fresh. Bed and pillows comfortable. Restaurant was clean, staff were very pleasant, food was good. Info on Expedia should be more clear for people arriving on Sunday. Check-in not until 5. I arrived early, not knowing this, but the staff worked very hard to prepare my room early. Thank you. Also, the restaurant is not open on Sunday. Secure storage for my velo.

Superb value for money. Marvellous staff - really friendly and enthusiastic , especially the lady serving at dinner! A little care worn on the inside and out, but if you’re looking for value and convenience then this place fits the bill. Decent dinner and breakfast. Free parking, ok for cars, a bit tight if you’ve got a LWB van.

On arrival our booking couldn’t be found, there seemed to be a problem. We had to change rooms because every time the toilet flushed there was water on the floor. The carpet was wet from another time. We were put into another room without any problems. It was great to be able to have a meal at the hotel. Lovely staff especially our waitress

We had two rooms: one was fine, the other one had a strong smell of mould -- really not nice. We asked to change room but we were told the hotel was full. The staff apologised, but it felt a gesture would have been appropriate. Empty shower gel dispenser too. Otherwise the hotel is by no means luxurious, but we kew that and that is fine.

It was an easy Hotel to reach on the way to the Alps. A good cheap stop over. Staff friendly and room small, but clean. We decided to walk into the town as we didn't want the buffet dinner. This took us about 40 minutes to walk, but was good after a day sitting in the car.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, clean but a little tired. The breakfast was plentiful and with a good variety. The buffet dinner food was also very good with a reasonable variety. The hotel location is on the main route through Villfranche and easy to find but is in the industrial area so don't expect pretty grounds to walk in. However it is 30 mins walk to the banks of the river Soane.

Uncertain at first as on industrial estate but friendly informal hotel with comfy bed. Evening meal not brilliant!

Good standard for overnight stay.

We enjoyed our stay at a convenient location, not far from the centre and river. The breakfast, buffet style was a generous continental style. The bonus was an excellent buffet style dinner (not on Sunday night). Good Asian restaurant just over the road (Sunday). The staff were all friendly, very helpful and with good English.

Overnight stop on route to skiing. Just needed comfortable room and meal at good price. This fitted the bill

We stayed overnight on route to the Alps. The motel did what it did on the tin. Room was ok. Food was buffet self service but good hot meal selection with cold options.

Very basic hotel, felt like a pod rather than a hotel room! Pre-formed, plastic bathroom/wet room. Tiny room with minimum facilities. Breakfast was stale & basic. Terrible coffee! Only stay here if you've no other option.

Easy to find straight from the autoroute junction. Nice staff on reception and very helpful for none French speaking Brit. No food on site in the evening but an outstanding Asian buffet restaurant a few hundred metres away. If you have booked to stay here don't eat before you arrive. Worth booking in even if you are heading south. Breakfast was excellent and good value. I will be back.

I am an English teacher in villefranche and I stayed here for a little while while looking for an apartment and absolutely loved it! The staff was nice and the food was excellent!
