A cozy boutique resort in peaceful surroundings. Beautiful lakeside location and the truly unique experience of seeing kangaroos right outside the door. A memorable and authentic Australian stay. Highly recommended.

Pros: Comfortable bed, good temperature control, fab modern Chinese restuarant on site, good wifi. Cons: Nobody ever at reception desk, no in-room guide to anything, difficult to navigate property, construction at 7am with no warning, no food nor ability to cook in room, no espresso coffee. It's a unique property, I felt like I was staying at a residential aged care facility but with no staff around. The owners didn't really look after their guests, I literally helped a guest myself, and another time had to ask construction workers for directions. I got the feeling this property may be earmarked for something else. The focus was on renovation, and the amazing restsaurant.

We enjoyed our stay and was great value for money. Unfortunately seeing the place is an original home, it affected my allergies quite badly. Our room was large but the bathroom toilet sliding door locked by a hock was adjoining the original lounge room and reception area. I would suggest filling in this door so the room feels like a room not like a shared bathroom. When on the loo you could hear people talking in the reception area. Felt like anyone could have tried to open the door on the other side. Didn’t feel secure. We only stayed 1 night. Staff friendly. Easier to get to the resort via new housing estate than the way the directions take you. Liked seeing wallabies.

We are an elderly couple with mildly limited mobility, consistent with our age. Sadly, the resort has not made any provisions for catering for our age group: the shower was virtually inaccessible inside a spa bath (dangerous falls risk), no handrails, and the living room recliner required too much strength to work and was therefore unusable for us. The advertised breakfast restaurant was closed. Cannot recommend for elderly travelers.

Lovely big room with balcony and lake views. The in-house restaurant is great.

Robyn’s nest is a beautiful place to stay while in Merimbula. We loved all the wildlife living in and around the property. My kids enjoyed fishing off the jetty and swimming in the pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of room for a family of 5. The onsite restaurant had excellent food and was so convenient. We will absolutely be back.

Overnight stay on road trip. The accommodation was in a long way from the town. The room was musty and dusty. Keys were left attached to reception door. Saving grace was the lovely room service dinner.

View was gorgeous. Location out of town on a lovely property. Room was clean with basic amenities but very small. No comfortable seating and noise from neighbouring rooms very audible.
