Shower needs to be renovated

Where to begin… the staff, especially the young man that spoke English well was super helpful and nice. We booked a room on hotels.com and we’re only looking for places that included breakfast. When we were checking in, we were told that breakfast was not included and we showed the person the website that stated all rooms included breakfast, since nothing was mentioned on the reservation. He took a photo of the info we provided. The following morning we had breakfast and it included eggs cooked the way you wanted along with breads and fruits. it was pretty good. When leaving the manager called us over and said it wasn’t included and that we will have to pay approx $20 per person. After going back and forth with him, he agreed to comp it, but we would be charge all subsequent breakfasts. Well that was the last time we ate there. We were able to dine elsewhere for less. The other major issue we had was with the room. Be aware of the listed square feet of the room. We were really surprised how tiny the room was. Thay we can deal with, the issue was with cleanliness. Someone last year posted pics of mold, thuck dust with hair and filthy showers, well thay must have been the room ww received, because it looked the same but worse. The hotel needs to update towels and sheets, everything was a dingy brown and should have been white. Wifi was fine.

Nice hotel in an excellent location. Close to Punta Carreta Shopping mall and to excellent restaurants. Across the street from the water and Montevideo's famous Rambla. Don't disagree with those who say they could use some updating, but i found it a clean with great service. Would stay here again.

Room was small. Bathroom needed a remodel, especially the shower. Staff was great. Location was great. Had my room refreshed, only replaced towels and made bed, no cleaning was done.

It is very far from a 4 star rating for the hotel. There is no gym at all even though it says there is. The rooms are very small! The service is very disrespectful. The carpet was so wet...from the AC.

It's a very good hotel. The room was quite small but the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean, with an excellent daily service. The staff are amazing, friendly, polite, helpful. Good location right opposite the Rambla.

Well located, cozy, friendly staff. Near Punta Carretas mall. Easy access to Rambla for walking and running. Not far from the beach.

The staff were excellent, accommodating our limited Spanish and ensuring we had all the help and assistance we needed. Breakfast was more than adequate and staff friendly. The rooms were small especially for travellers with 2 suitcases, however we were aware of this and did not plan to spend much time in the room. Great location - opposite the Rio Plata and directly on las rambla. 5 minute up hill stroll to large shopping mall and local and tourist buses. Only one thing slightly let it down was the room had a very stale smell and the under pillows needed to be changed. We loved Montevideo and would not hesitate to stay here again

The room I had was 1103. The bathroom was clean and the hot water good. Cleaning of room next day good. My only complaint was the carpet had a bad mold smell. We walked into the room around 1am after a whole day of travel and was overtaken by the smell. For the sake of your future guests replace the carpet for tile. The staff was nice so I was nice.

Convenient for public transport. Great location on the river.

The service was kind but the hotel lacks a lot of things I would expect - Details like bottle openers and lack of attention to detail of the cleaning staff. Good area and nice view but hotel is quite small and doesn't have a restaurant or bar. Manager was helpful to redress issues
