The room was not clean. At least not to my standards. The door to the room was warped. You had to bang it with a hip to open and pulling it hard to close.

Requested handy cap room toilet was not usable because support bar on right side was too close to toilet shower was slippery used the pilot truck stop for shower and restroom The ada UPC code is 16 inches from center of bowl

Didn’t have any issues with property the first couple times but this last time I rented a room #233 smells like wet, dog or something in the air conditioning in the room was broken did not work so it was extremely hot.

Hotel is basic, no frills, which is fine but the rooms could be cleaner and brighter. The carpet was dark but coupled that with a small ceiling light it felt quite dark. There's no lift, which was fine for us, but elderly people or someone with heavy luggage would struggle. Breakfast was available, but just toast, butter, cheese and yoghurt, no meat. The 2-slice toaster definitely need to upgraded. Staff was friendly, so no complaints there. One thing I really liked was that coffee was available any time of the day or night - and it was really good coffee, not mild coffee-flavoured hot water 😊 Overall, it was fine for the price we paid.

It's no fun standing in a foot of water while showering. I guess they don't believe in Drano!

Towels were not clean and they do not wash bathrooms neither blankets and smells like cigarettes

Check in went ok, room had a phone that didn’t work & was filthy, refrigerator smelled furniture looked like it was bought at thrift store. Couldn’t shower water was so hot it burnt the skin no matter it was turned on cold or hot no temp difference. I have never had a bad experience staying at motel 8 before this experience has put doubts in my stays at motel 8 in future.

Hotel was very dirty. There was holes in the tub shower combo and a whole in the ceiling above the shower. The room had a very strong smell. Will not stay there again and would not recommend to anyone.

What I expected for what I paid

This was by far the worst place for the cost that I’ve ever stayed. It was obviously neglected and in need of major maintenance! There was a hole in the wall where (probably) the door handle had went through. The sink’s faucet fell off the second it was touched. The shower’s mixer was stuck in shower only mode, so it was impossible to give the child a bath. The shower head sprayed water from the side. There was what looked like mold on the bathroom ceiling. The whole room smelled like 10 year old stale smoke. The breakfast was cereal or toast. The juice was rotten/spoiled. When these issues were told to the staff they seemed unconcerned.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke. I'm a non-smoker. There was a cigarette burn in cover. Other places offer things besides just the cold cereal and toast for their continental breakfast. Unsatisfied customer. Won't be staying there anytime soon again.
