I had a genuinely positive experience staying at GreenStar Hotel Joensuu during my visit to Finland. The hotel is simple, affordable, and not marketed as a luxury property, yet it offered something I value deeply when traveling: thoughtful and caring hospitality.
What stood out most was the staff. Every time I needed assistance or had a question, they were approachable, kind, and willing to help. Their attitude created a welcoming atmosphere that made the stay feel comfortable and stress-free.
I also appreciated the practical amenities available to guests, including a kettle in the room and access to a shared kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, and crockery. These small details made a big difference, especially for a work-related stay.
This experience reminded me that hospitality is not only about expensive décor or upscale branding. Sometimes a modest hotel with attentive staff and practical comforts leaves a far stronger impression than a much more expensive property.
