It was ok

This is a hotel which is both modern and a little outdated. The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in really hot weather and there is no air conditioning

Nice hotel, good helpful staff, could do with a little freshen up in places, such as the pool area. Stayed for 2 nights with breakfast. The first morning, breakfast, e.g sausage and bacon a bit too over done. Second morning much better.

Staff are amazing

The hotel needs some updating. Our room was small, not well ventilated, very stuffy. The towel rail was on constant while ever the light was on in the room, and in an already stuffy room not ideal. It also smelt quite fusty when we first went in. We paid through a 3rd party site but had we booked through their website with a discount code as wedding guests it would have been 3 times as much and was definitely only work what we paid which was less than £60 for a standard room breakfast not included. Communal rooms for the wedding didn’t have adequate air conditioning either! We would not book to stay here again and only stayed as we were at a wedding! I had considered the spa here before based on website images but having seen it in person as a hotel I think I’d feel very dissatisfied

Didn’t have time for spa Breakfast was expensive My wife only had a coffee and was charged Only 2 teabags and 2 coffee sachet in the room Otherwise she would have had it there Room was very dark and too far from restaurant and bar My wife recently had a big operation so was awkward where we was put In the morning I was told we had the wrong room We had 56 but was supposed have 76 It was clean but tired Don’t think we will stay again

Excellent Hotel and surrounding

Thread bare carpets. Lighting unsynced and difficult to work out in the bedroom. Dirty toilet bowl. Spar. Changing rooms unkept with broken lockers. Worst of all, an hour and a half wait for our meal in the restaurant, the food was just thrown on the plate with no attempt at presentation, especially considering the price. Our question as to where are meal was shrugged off. When we complained all that was said was would we like a free drink? Really?This hotel presents itself as a top class wedding venue. Personally I would be embarrassed to invite friends and family to.

Staff where very friendly, but it was a maze to get to the room, clearer signs need to be put up to direct people to their rooms. Due to warm weather it would have been ideal for the rooms to have A/C

Reception lady didn't even get out her chair to greet us Their was a wedding at the venue and I feel as a regular guest we were ignored I paid alot off money for the 6 off us to stay their and I won't recommend or stay here again My son went to the bar and asked for a pint off larger only to be told their was no glasses ?? I asked for 2 bottles off cider and was given hot glasses out the dishwasher We had nowhere to sit because all tables and chairs were taken up by wedding guests We did eventually sit outside the spa but was asked to leave due to the fact it was closing so off to our rooms we went The tall man in the spa was absolutely amazing friendly and kind Never again and expensive for nothing Slamming door hotel bang bang bang all night

Excellent hotel and leisure facilities couldn't fault the pool staff. On the main the hotell staff were great especially the restaurant and reception staff. There was a problem with the bar on the last night with the till down which took quite a while to sort with the hotel going to shut the bar (not helpful) Thankfully a young guy came up and took charge with an alternative way around payment. It wouldn't put me off booking again as things happen, just think it could of been dealt with a lot quicker.
