I had a wonderful stay at Microtel! The hotel was exceptionally clean, modern, and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile, which made the experience even better. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day. There was a nice selection of fresh and tasty options, and everything was well stocked and organized. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff did an excellent job keeping everything replenished. Overall, Microtel provided excellent value, outstanding service, and a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and enjoyable hotel experience.

We stayed for 2 nights. A calm, fairly quiet hotel on the outskirts of the city. There’s a large parking lot. The hotel is fairly new and clean. The pool is small, for 3–4 people, but it smells strongly of chlorine, so we didn’t take the risk. The bathroom is very clean; the bed linen and towels are clean and in sufficient quantity. They’re also changed daily. There’s soap, shampoo, conditioner, a hairdryer — everything. The fridge isn’t the smallest, and we were able to freeze our icepaks.The bed is very comfortable, we slept wonderfully!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful!!! We recommend it if you’re traveling by car and want to explore the nature of the nearby parks.

We stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sault Ste. Marie and overall had a good experience. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. It felt modern and comfortable, and we appreciated having plenty of space to spread out after a long day of traveling. The only downside to the room itself was that the sheets were a little rough and not as comfortable as we would have liked. We did have an issue with the hair dryer, which was broken. I called the front desk but couldn’t get an answer. My husband went downstairs to request a replacement, but the front desk was dealing with a line of guests and didn’t have staff available to bring one to the room. To their credit, they called us back as soon as they were able to get another hair dryer, and my husband was able to pick it up. The hotel is located on a busy street, and we could hear road noise from our room. We also experienced significant connectivity issues during our stay. The Wi-Fi was unreliable and, at times, not working at all. My husband’s cell phone also had difficulty getting service inside the hotel. During breakfast, we overheard other guests discussing similar issues, so it didn’t seem to be an isolated problem. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated and always a nice perk when traveling. However, some of the more popular items, such as the eggs, were empty fairly early and weren’t immediately replenished. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered good value for the price. While there are a few areas that could be improved, particularly the internet connectivity and breakfast replenishment, we would consider staying here again when passing through Sault Ste. Marie.

Love the design of the rooms. Beds were comfortable. Quiet. Great check in. Very friendly. No name tag. May 2. Need a towel holder for hand towel in bathroom. Coffee wasn’t the best. Tasty waffle Felt like I was bothering the woman checking out this morning. Also liked that we could walk to Chucks roadhouse for dinner.

This hotel is fantastic! One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in recently. The staff at the front desk on both days were fabulous and quick for check in and check out. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The only thing is that the pool was a little cold but that’s just my opinion lol. I will definitely be staying here every time I’m in Sault Ste. Marie!
