The hotel is very good and all of the staff are a credit to the hotel.

A great hotel with an outstanding staff team. Every member of staff we came across was professional, friendly and very helpful - from the extremely welcoming reception team, through the breakfast and bar staff, to a lovely groundsman who provided fascinating insight into the history of the hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was extremely spacious and well equipped; the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spectacular. As an older building, there wasn’t any air conditioning (a fan was provided) and the floorboards were creaky, but that was to be expected and didn’t detract from the beautiful environment and atmosphere. The hotel had a huge lake and a lovely garden area, with outside seating to enjoy the peaceful setting. This was our first visit but definitely a place we will return to.

Lovely property, staff are normally great but let down a little by the condition in some of the rooms, particularly in bathroom areas. It won't stop me staying again.

Great setting, with spacious and well appointed rooms. Shame that breakfast doesn't start a little earlier so it's of limited value to the business traveller.

Really lovely hotel, friendly staff. It's a stunning wedding suitable for weddings. The room we had was an executive and it was beautiful. Nice and open, bright and comfortable. The coffee machine was also excellent.

The building, the decor, the grounds, all completely spectacular. A fabulous place for anyone who loves gardens/plants/greenery. The staff literally couldn't be nicer, more helpful if they tried, they are all wonderful. Brooke was a regular superstar during our four days, and even the night duty staff Buzz was super amazing too. Honestly it's one of the nicest places I've ever visited and I really want to return again. Thank you to the Nunsmere staff
