Recently reopened, this hotel is probably the best boutique hotel we’ve stayed at. It’s perfect for a relaxing stay, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and looked after. The place has been designed and executed to an outstanding level. Our room was incredible. Excellent breakfast and it’s in a fantastic location to explore Keurboom beaches and the wider Plett area. We regret only spending two nights there. One thing to note is the kitchen closes at 2pm but you can request a sharing platter for the evening with 24 hours notice.

We have traveled the world for decades and this was on one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. Luxurious private home with all amenities all to ourselves.

Really beautiful place, outstanding views out over the mountains, quiet and peaceful. Just incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend.

The property is like stepping into a luxurious game lodge from a bygone age yet you’re only 15 minutes from the town of Plettenberg and about 5 minutes to a wonderful stretch of beach just down the hill. However the facility itself is nearly new so it features all the modern conveniences to be had. Architects and interior designers will be fascinated by the attention to detail that went into the construction of this lodge. The grounds are extensive and include a horse stable and several paths, providing plenty of opportunity to take in some casual exercise in a wonderful secluded environment. The proprietors and staff were incredibly warm and friendly and the advice given made sure we got the most out of our 2 days there. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Crags.

The nicest place we have ever stayed, pictures do not do this place justice. We stayed in the honeymoon suite & it is JUST WHOWH. Panaramic views, infinity pool, log fire, and the rest goes on! Best breakfast ive ever had & beautiful staff who look after your every need!

The Johnston family has created a fabulous, stylish lodge in a beautiful location; the views from Tamodi are literally breathtaking, overlooking the valley and distant mountain range. This is a very special property and we really enjoyed our stay here. Waking to the sound of birdsong and then experiencing a Tamodi breakfast makes a truly luxurious start to the day - the breakfasts are fabulous! It was a wonderful treat to stay in the honeymoon suite and the outdoor shower is to be recommended..... Big thanks to Chelsea, Nathanial and the rest of the team for looking after us so well - we hope to visit again.

2 night stay in a fabulous suite with a perfect view. So tranquil, but close enough to Plett and Keurboom beach. A perfect stay.
