Very clean and quiet. Convenient walk to train station

One of Kongsbergs older properties but maintained and run perfectly with a first class breakfast, welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. Only hiccup was having to pay Expedia and the hotel due to an unresolved booking issue. I’m sure Expedia will refund me. Very good option for Kongsberg and could not be closer to the reliable rail service.

Rose was a wonderful server at the restaurant and an exceptional guide for our stay!

Great breakfast in the AM. Small but well appointed room. Air conditioning or a fan in the room world have been nice.

Ordinary stay due to covid restrictions. Hotel location perfect. Dinner for guests difficult due to arrangements in Resturant. Great breakfast.

Everything was great.

Very good place to stay. The breakfast is great and the hotel has free parking. It is situated very central, next to the train station. I wished there was air conditioning in the room, because it gets a little too hot during the summer. Also very noicy outside because of trains and cars. I really recommend this hotel, for a quick place to stay.

Large sleeping room with tasteful blonde furniture,small bar and ample breakfast buffet. Short walk to Kongsberg pedestrian street, river and college.

Great breakfast. The largest room I have had in Norway. Very comfortable. Great dinner. The best experience that I have had in this country.

Comfortable and clean hotel with friendly reception. Close to buses, trains and in centre of town for restaurants etc. WiFi seemed a bit slow and temperamental at times.

Nice hotel. The restaurant menu didn't quite cater for my tastes but was adequate. The breakfast choice could be improved. Staff very friendly and very helpful.

We had good size rooms, good breakfast and the staff was great!

The room was recently redecorated, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We even had a fridge. Breakfast was also of good quality and check in was efficient and friendly. It's located beside a shopping area and also the train station. We did have to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good clean hotel ... lovely part of the country

The staff was so friendly and the rooms were really nice. It is located in a great location in Kongsberg near the bus and train station. Easy walking to food and shopping. The breakfast served by the hotel was very good. We will stay there again next time we are there!

Good location ....just next to the bus and train station and down town. Well maintained and cozy. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was simple but good. Wish they also served norwegian wiener bread and danishes. The gym was small and crowded. Nice sauna but needed to book ahead of time as it generally was left off.

I picked BW from a few options in Kongsberg for a queen size bed, and that was what I got - true queen size bed (not a given in Norway, default beds are smaller). Also, if you arrive by train like I did, the fact that BW is just by the train station is a plus. simple breakfast was included in the basic rate. Alltogether good experience.
