A bit dated but comfy bed. Friendly staff. Bathroom is very awkward with configuration of toilet to tub. Very reasonable prices for the area. Restaurant is a bonus

This is an older property, that could use some updating. Having said that, the room was spacious and clean enough. We enjoyed the restaurant onsite.

Lane’s is conveniently located close to the centre of Liverpool within short walking distance to shops and local attractions such as the Trestle Trail and Hell’s Bay Brewing Company and a short drive away from Cosby’s and beautiful beaches. Though a bit dated, the room was clean, comfortable and reflected a historic charm. The grounds offer a park like feel with a chance to watch seals chasing fish on the river. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant didn’t disappoint with a cozy atmosphere, traditional menu and selection of local wines and beers. It was a great choice for a mini weekend escape.

It took a while for the young man to arrive to check me in. It appeared he was alone and handling several tasks. My room was fine except I had to climb several levels of stairs outdoors - glad it wasn’t raining. For travelers with children the grounds around the Inn were substantial and well maintained. Great for kids to run around a bit after traveling.

Didn't like the fact that I had to ask for a hair dryer. Also room cleanliness was only adequate- the building truly does need a lot of tlc. Lighting in rooms dim that way you can't see the dust. This was our second visit there, but we won't return.

The location was excellent. A bit of a challenge lugging heavy suitcases up and down stairs

The staff was very polite and helpful. The property was clean but definitely wasn't value for money. The first room which was alloted was having smoke smell despite being smoke free. They changed our room another, which was facing the road, despite the windows being closed, the external sounds from the road weren't stopping. The lawn area near the property had dog-feces all-over and hence walking on same wasn't possible. Overall the rent charged seemed to be way high when, there wasn't any breakfast included in the package inspite of having a restaurant in the property. There are a lot of improvements possible for the upkeep and renovations. Definitely not recommended at the rate charged.

Basic, but good. Would have been nice if the front desk was open earlier, and if the restaurant was open for breakfast

Good location, close to town and river. Overall is good, room clean but the carpet had some dirty spots. Reception always busy had to ring the bell and waiting.

The only good thing about this property is the price. But I guess What you pay what you get!

The grounds were very nice, beautiful scenery, close to all amenities. The room was nice, the bed was very unique, the mattress wasn’t very comfortable, the duvet had something on it which we didn’t use. The top sheet had stains like dye or something. We would go back for one night. The restaurant was nice, very pleasant waitress, the food is delicious, but the prices are quite high. We did enjoy our stay.

Very nice place to stay. The bed and shower pressure were outstanding. Our stay was enjoyable, however the staff would not make the effort to return a lost item left behind in the room, even though we offered to pay the postage.

Clean place and a very good restaurant.
