The room was nice, bathroom not very private due to sliding door. I had inquired about a late checkout at my reservation. I received an email stating that would be noted and was available. At check in I was told it would 40 extra euros. Would have been nice to have explained that in the email.

Great hotel in a superb location, and the character of the rooms is a step above anywhere else I have stayed in recently. With convenient shopping and restaurants outside the front door it couldn't be better.

Interesting renovation of an old building, leading to some constraints eg low beams, lack of natural light, but staff were excellent as was breakfast and dinner, sat outside in the attached restaurant Room lighting could be improved Easy parking across the road

The night stand had coffee stain from before. You can easily hear the noise from the street. Otherwise it was perfect.

Je ne conseil pas cet hôtel aux français. Personne ne parle un mots de français . À la tv il y’a des chaînes pour les anglais et les allemands mais rien pour les français. Et je trouve honteux que quand l on réserve une chambre pour 3 personnes on nous demande de rajouter 40€ par nuit pour un simple lit pliant à ce tarif je l ai largement payer le lit !!! Et à woerden après 18h il n’y a plus rien à faire tout est fermé donc pas de tv et rien a faire aux alentours vive l ennuie. Donc rien ne justifie de tel tarifs .

Super nice quiet town with really helpful staff

Decent hotel with good facilities including a kettle. It's some distance from the station, but we took the train to Utrecht and Rotterdam. Good restaurants nearby. Slow service on checking -out.

Great place to stay!!!

The hotel is really nice and well maintained. The service in the restaurant is very poor. Good luck with getting any attention. Due to lack of attention no further drinks were ordered the ones that were we had to re request as they didn't arrive and we were not asked if we wanted dessert. So gave up.

We liked the walkable small town feel of Woerden. Town was still had great options for dining and shopping and a train station to go anywhere for the day. Parking garage was across the street and cost was discounted if you stay at the hotel.

Most friendly hotel - staff were fantastic! Restaurant for breakfast & dinner were fantastic. The manager made room for us on King's Day for dinner for 8 people with no reservations. Terrific meal! We were pleasantly surprised with Woerden as well - beautiful town with great restaurants & friendly people!

Excellent and original hotel

Beautiful hotel in the historic city center of Woerden. The hotel offer a great restaurant for breakfast and diner, as well as a nice terrace to enjoy a drink. Located centrally, it provides easy access to mayor cities in the western part of the Netherlands.

Location was good

Lovely remake of an old armory into a contemporary hotel. The use of open beams adds an authentic, energetic and fun touch.

A wonderful restoration of an historic building. Staff, food, everything about the place is first rate. Recommended.
