The property is very clean and okay but communication was poor. They were very strict regarding visitors and they have to turn my friend away from visiting.

My stay at New City was amazing. The staff was attentive and friendly and the location across from the American University of Cairo was ideal!

Room was very spacious and clean. The manager was extremely helpful as well. There is a nice mall right next door with plenty of good restaurants to choose from.

When we arrived very early in the morning of our check-in day, the hotel staff (Mohamed Yousef) greeted us very happily and made us feel very welcome after our long international flight from Mexico. He went well above and beyond for us in doing everything in his power to make us comfortable and relaxed while we waited until the earliest possible opportunity to check in to our room. We were so relieved to have such a friendly professional who empathized with us in our timing situation. Superb service!

This place is hidden on a dirt road with loud construction everywhere. The Bed was the absolute worse bed that I have ever slept on, you can feel every spring hurt your body. The couch was ripped and was painfully uncomfortable. When you open the kitchen cabinets, it smells like roach spray. After speaking to the manager about these issues, he refused to move me to another room unless I paid him more money. This is not the way to treat a long term guest who has been there for an exceptionally long time. If the management is terrible, then the rest is self explanatory. The only good thing about this place was the housekeeping crew. You've been warned, do not waste your time at the New City Aparthotel Apartment(s) Hotel.

The place has a very good location, there is a nice mall close by and the area is good. The hotel needs some renovation it gives you a dark feeling at first then you get used to it. Overall its good for short stay it has almost everything needed.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Comfy beds and pillows. Spacious studio. I didn't like small insects in the bathroom and 2 uncovered bins. I know it's summer but the water was barely warm.
